To be fair, this isn't really a big deal. A time delay is pretty common, and not nearly as bad as going so over-budget like Double Fine.

I guess I'm just too cheap for some sales. I really wanted Far Cry 3 for $15 and Bioshock Infinite for $20, oh well, maybe next sale :(

Now playing

To be fair, conveying emotion, and even vulnerability was something that many rappers were doing before Kanye. Obviously if you found songs that resonate with you, that is great, and I'm not trying to knock that. But if you like rap that delves into human emotion and hardships, there is a lot of great stuff out there.

Oh well, nothing really lost and a few laughs were had. I think we'll be okay.

So your measure of success is where my comment is located? Oh boy, good luck with that. I hope I've demonstrated I do not care at all about my comment position. This has been far more entertaining, have a good rest of the day :D

This has been a bit of good fun. You seem pretty intent on repeating yourself over and over. I hope that works out for you.

Well that is just it, value is subjective. So many people will point to costumes and call it a scam or a moneygrab, but if you enjoy the first 20 hours of a game a lot more because your character looks better in a DLC outfit, than that has real value.

Absolutely, some DLC is crap. But that also applies directly to entire games and no one suggests that all games should be booed or not made. Think about how many more crappy games are made than good games. Think about how much more crappy DLC is made than good DLC. Just because there is an abundance of crap doesn't

This seems like a great example of bad value. Pretty much exactly the opposite of what I was referring to in my post.

I don't know what to tell you, maybe you're not buying good DLC? Have you played Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption? Or Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2? Citadel for ME3? The Ballad of Gay Tony for GTA4? I don't want to hit you with a laundry list, but some of the biggest games ever also have some of the best

It is a pretty clear comparison. No matter how good something is, once it is consumed, I will want something more later. As I consume entertainment, I want to consume new and more. It is a pretty simple concept.

"If you create a complete game.., dlc is not necessary" Wtf is this? So if I eat a complete meal today, I don't need to eat tomorrow? No offense, but that is pretty ridiculous.

Sigh, dismissing DLC entirely is a pretty stupid attitude. DLC is great when it is good content for a good price. Provide gamers with good value and people will cheer. I love Matt and Trey, hopefully someone can show them Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim..

I can't be the only person who thought of this..

Yeah, the frequent repetition is really my biggest gripe. Obviously I'd like even better sales and paying even less money. But right now, checking in every 8 hours is not exciting when they have such a high rate of repeated sales and games.

I just want to say thanks to everyone who gave me feedback yesterday on Sleeping Dogs. I decided to give the game a shot on numerous recommendations and I couldn't be happier. I'm about 5 hours into the game and I'm already hooked. So thank you all, this might be the best $6 I spend during this Steam sale.

I am thinking about getting this game and I am curious, is the story good? I don't know much about it, but I am willing to give it a shot if it has a good story.

Both games are very good, and in different ways. I personally like FONV more, but FO3 is no slouch. Both games have great stories, quests, vaults to explore, wide varieties of weapons, playstyles, and great RPG mechanics. You really can't go wrong with either game.

Yup, one more piece of DLC, which is actually being revealed tomorrow.

Woohoo, Dishonored for 10 bucks is already downloading! I can't wait to play, and I picked up the voidwalker weapon pack DLC, so I will have extra toys to play with! This is the first Steam deal I am really excited about!
