Yeah, and I want to read Kotaku from between the hours of 4-8 am and enjoy it. I hope that is clear :)

So what is the point of this post? You already posted elsewhere and you aren't making any valid point here. Please, waste less of my time, thanks.

Yes, more time makes an unfinished MMO better. SWTOR failed because when people reached 50, there was nothing to do, I was there, and I watched my guild and dozens of other guilds all reach 50, and die a few weeks later. In PVP, there was 1 broken PVP planet and 3 warzones. In PVE there was 1 playable Operation (and 1

Seriously, as an MMO, SWTOR failed hard. They could have turned around KOTOR 3 in a 2 year dev cycle and sold 5million+ units. But nooo, they needed to make it an MMO.

So it was the Bioware developers who decided to rush out SWTOR on December 20th of 2011, and not the executives? It was the devs who said "we know we launched the game with unfinished content, but we had to." They are the ones who chose to release an unfinished product?

Well, she does a great job as Shep through the entire trilogy. But beyond that, well before ME1, Jennifer Hale was one of the most famous video game voice actors in the industry (and still is). She has voiced tons of iconic characters, from Naomi Hunter in Metal Gear Solid, Bastila Shan in Knights of the Old Republic,

Mass Effect is the reason I bought my Xbox 360. All I knew was, these were the people who made KOTOR and Jade Empire. I had to play their new sci-fi game, even if it meant buying a console just to play this game. I am so proud to have made such an exceptional purchasing decision those 5 years ago.

Oh yeah, I mean, I am not going to make any decisions until it is actually announced. But it is hard not to get encouraged or discouraged with the almost daily cycle of new leaks and rumors.

Xbox has been trying to become a cable box for 5 years now, so the always-on component of the (hopefully optional) TV service makes a lot of sense.

Oh yeah, I don't disagree. I just think a lot of devs have put up the "opinions expressed here don't represent my company" in their bios and figured that is adequate protection. Clearly, I don't think that is going to fly anymore.

Wow, hard not to imagine the two are connected within such a short period of time. I imagine a lot of game devs who use twitter daily to joke with each other are probably reconsidering their social networking choices.

Yeah, "compress" is such a polite way of saying dilute and completely omit the vast majority of characters, stories and content from even just a single ME game.

I do speak for myself. In fact, myself is the only person I will ever speak for. Even more narcissistically, I am the only person I ever want to speak for.

Absolutely, which is why I have posted that I want to see more game-industry related topics and articles coming from Kotaku East. I am not asking for it to be removed, I am asking for it to be improved. I want to see a greater focus and emphasis on the studios, publishers, titles and community of APAC gaming industry.

It was not meant to be aggressive. I can only ever speak for myself, I am never trying to speak for anyone but me. I find something irrelevant, that doesn't mean it is irrelevant to everyone, just that it is irrelevant to me.

I might sound defensive because you might have been offensive. The whole "don't take away my blah because you blah" is a bullshit statement. I am not taking anything away, I am expressing my opinion when it was asked for.

You mean like the pastries that "look like a vagina" - and the dozens of other posts that seem more about weird fetishes than anything related to tech or games. Yeah, that is the stuff that is absurd, irrelevant and prime example of what needs to be replaced by more meaningful content.

Sure, and we have both voiced our opinions. Hence the point of this thread. Kotaku would be a better place for me if it had more content that appealed to me. That is all, I am sure you have all your own opinions that you can make all your own posts about.

Yeah, I am not asking for the full removal of Kotaku East, just more relevant and interesting content. There is an abundance of interesting things happening in that part of the world, and I'd like for Kotaku East to focus on them, rather than the weird and absurd things they seem to focus on frequently.
