Sometimes I get so overwhelmed by all the things that I have and just get a desperate need to have them gone. I’m by no means living in some sort of cluttered Hoarders situation, but sometimes I’ll be sitting in my room Read more

I’m graduating from university this summer, which got me to thinking about some of my teachers from when I first started secondary school (~aged 11) and one of them had a real impact on me; I really looked up to her at a time when I hated school, and she really inspired me in the subject that she taught, I won’t lie, Read more

I was convinced it would be right up my street, so I’m hoping that maybe it’s just growing pains rather than comedic incompatibility. Tell me that it gets better?

We’ve just had our university’s first (to my knowledge) feminist society established this month, and whilst I’m head over heels about the number of people that have shown an interest, the way in which it’s establishing itself has me in two minds. Read more

Only ~17,250 assessed words left this semester (not including exams, because I’d rather not acknowledge them just now) until I can graduate! Trying to make them the best/most succinct/most insightful/most critically reflective words ever, but it’s an aim that is proving to be incredibly challenging considering it’s Read more

Anybody up for a spot of proof-reading? I just wrote this sentence and it just feels really awkwardly worded. Thoughts? Problematic or am I just overthinking? Read more
