Any playoff that isn’t a direct exponent of 2 is ridiculous. The Bowl system is also ridiculous. Most sports allow 25-50% of their teams into the playoffs, so having a system where ~5% of the teams get into the playoffs is also ridiculous, especially since the schedule is so small that there isn’t a lot of

I had 2 issues with the same cop, spaced about 5 years apart. First was leaving my store to follow my manager to the bank with the nightly deposit at 2am. We pulled out, one behind the other, and got stopped at the traffic light. When it turned green we both left, maybe a little fast, but not speeding. Cop pulled us

You never know when boat trailer traffic is going to increase.  I find it quite annoying when I try to launch my boat at the local boat ramp and can’t park there because 10 cars are parked in the trailer spots, and there is already a shortage of parking spots.

Nope, they usually have a special switch on the dash (MB and Volvo) that turns them on separately from all the other lights on your car.  I’ve noticed that some people new to these cars tend to turn it on because ‘if it’s brighter makes my car more visible to people behind me, and since I’m a special owner of a fancy

And in the south in the middle of July.

Frequently the fire truck gets dispatched because they need man power to lift the 400 lb heart attack victim from the 2nd floor down to the ambulance.

We got a new fire chief in the city I worked in, and the first thing he did was to buy each station an Expedition that 2 paramedics use as a quick response vehicle, they send the ambulance, too; but it get someone to the scene of the incident faster.

I’ve used it a time in two in emergencies, and it’s worked, but my CJ-7 has a Detroit Locker in the back now, so I don’t typically have to worry about getting stuck.  It’s rare for me to even shift it into emergency drive, which locks the transfer case.

You are correct. An open diff will split torque 50/50, but only up to the limits of traction available at the wheel with the least amount of traction.

Yeah, my old Audi 4000 Quattro had locking center and rear diffs, but I wouldn’t drive it on that road due to ground clearance.

A better way of describing it is an open differential (either center or axle) will send up to 100% of the torque to the axle/wheel with the least amount of traction. A locking diff will send up to 100% of the torque to the axle/wheel with the most traction.

I’d say airplane collisions are the most perplexing - there is a whole ‘nother dimensions they can travel in to avoid collisions.

Might I point to the availability of XLR taillights, and they sold 5x as many of those.

That’s actually a problem now. How many replacement parts for those Cadillac exclusive parts exist now? What about crash part availability?

Back in the day my state forced us to pay an extra $5/year for 10 years on each car registration that went to the failed Global Transpark in NC. The first 100,000 cars got special GTP plates. I thought it was pretty strange that my plate was #70747

Looks like the back seats are virtually unusable by anyone outside a narrow size band (bigger than car-seat, smaller than Simone Biles.)

2 funny things about the matter. First - the stereo in the car I got pulled over in was the quietest one I had in about a 2 decade period. I never got in any trouble for the louder ones I had.

According to a certain segment of the population, if they can’t catch you, you haven’t done anything wrong.

Remember this is an arrest record.  Not a conviction record.  Technically I have an arrest for failure to appear - but it was 100% the cops fault, he changed the court date on my copy of the ticket, but forget to change his.  All charges were dropped (including the original offense, which was a noise ordinance

Or been blocked by people who cut them off when they see the signal.
