Really only one station chain offers it in my area, and I only run it in my delivery car since that’s the one that racks up the mileage. They offer 5 grades at each pump, so they have flex fuel, 87, 88, 89 and 93 at the pump. Then at 2 pumps they replace flex and 89 with Diesel and ethanol-free.

I know it’s first world problems, but I like not having to enter my PIN or ZIP code with the tap-to-pay, plus if you going to spend money installing it on your gas pump, why not make it work?

There is only one chain in my area where tap to pay actually works consistently, and that’s Sheetz.

I love saving 30 to 50 cents on 88 octane gas.  My car gets the exact same mileage as on 87.

Did they work for A1 towing?

I think you have made some bad assumptions. Went with a friend to look at a stock Ford diesel truck for him, that was having problems, greatly reduced power and a bunch of codes. Read the codes, did some research and determined a bunch of the EGR and DEF related parts needed to be replaced - they were clogged and the

NC, we pay property tax on cars, boats, trailers every year.  If the vehicle has plates you pay along with your registration, but if not you get a separate tax bill every year.

Well, looks like this guy is an annoying small time CL ‘dealer’.  But he probably didn’t stick the S badge on there, the PO probably did.  And that’s the type of PO I don’t want to see in a car’s history.  For pretty much any reason they put it on there, it doesn’t bode well for how the car was maintained.

The first CVT I drove was in a Mini, and I hated it. The second was surprisingly in a Jeep Compass and it wasn’t nearly as bad. I have a CVT in my C-Max, and I rather like it. The car just goes when you floor it. So I think it has a lot more to do with tuning than anything.

I don’t think turbos work with Atkinson cycle engines.

My C-Max has a nice flake to it’s Sterling Grey Met.

My local tax authority sent me a new bill for my 69 Mustang and 76 CJ7, they want about 5x the taxes they did just a couple of years ago.

From what I’ve heard, the real reason for the delete and tune is to avoid having to continually replace expensive parts that get clogged with soot, and when they get clogged they make the driveability of the truck suffer.

Dual braking systems were mandated in 1967.

The only mistakes I’ve made have been when someone who I infrequently boat with wants to help. I generally launch by myself, and typically do it faster than groups launching boats. I have one friend who, through years of boating together, have developed a good system and can launch/retrieve very quickly without

Very few people have winches. The potential danger of a rope breaking and causing injury to a bystander probably outweighs and desire to keep trucks out of the water.  Fixing people costs a lot more than replacing vehicles.

Why don’t you put the stuff in the boat before you put it in the water?

You can watch for the cart. My legs don’t have 2 knees each so I can fold them so they will fit in the inadequate space provided.  Which gets me thinking - maybe a faster way to load the plane is providing more room between the seats rows.

My boat/trailer weighs 10x what yours does, so not really that helpful for me.

It’s all about insurance.
