Good, they need to crack down on a bunch of other advertising doubletalk while they are at it. Next place to visit - the term unlimited.

I lived in GA in the 80's we had moved to NC by 1988, but I remember a bad ice storm in the early 80s, and we moved to Newnan GA and had a snow storm bad enough there that they were putting out a call on radio and TV for anyone with a 4x4 to come help the Sheriff out. That same storm dumped 3 feet of snow in NC where…
Take it from me - stay home. One of my worst Christmases ever was in 1989. Against my better advice, my parents decided we HAD to drive from NC to Miami for Christmas. We left early in the morning, it started snowing in NC shortly afterwards. Traffic was bumper to bumper on I-95, and my stepfather decided he felt a…
Getting a newer hybrid definitely paid off for me in gas savings alone over keeping an older car.
Definitely, the challenges and road trips are the best part of TG.
When you walk into a store, you aren’t in debt to them just by picking up something and walking to the counter.
Yeah, surprisingly a Kia dealer managed to get a better rate for me on a used truck, and the rate I walked in with was already in the low 3s. That Kia dealer was fine to work with. Even the finance guy was OK, he tried to sell me an extended warranty, I shot him down; that was it for upselling.
When I was looking for a used car a few years ago, a Honda dealer was the worst. Most cars had prices listed on their website, but the one I was interested in didn’t, it said to fill in info and they would e-mail you the price. In a course of some 15-20 e-mails I received from both a salesperson and the dales manager,…
See, I found the celebrity interviews/laps to be the worst part of that iteration of TG.
Top Gear is very much still around, and I find it just as good with it’s current set of hosts.
Why does a car without a ICE need a CARB EO to be sold? Seems like a vehicle without an ICE wouldn’t be under CARBs purview.
Groceries go in the back seat. Mine is also great for towing my fairly large boat. Even with the short bed, never a problem hauling the umbiquitous 4x8 sheets of plywood with the tailgate down - or lumber up to 12' long. Bed is also handy for dirty auto parts. Did I say tailgate - truck is also ideal for going to even…
I have a Ford C-Max (which uses Toyota Hybrid technology) and the braking is fine on mine.
It’s a lot safer when your legs are behind the front wheels.
I was surprised by the room in a mini. Another surprising one - a 3 series convertible. Ford Focus and C-Max both have lots of head room, as do some generations of RAV4 without a sunroof.
I think it had the best handling/ride compromise of any car I’ve had.
All of the other divisions, really. Except half of them are gone.
Wow, I liked my 88 80. Seems to be equipped the same, too. Best MPG I ever got from a delivery vehicle until I went hybrid. It was sadly destroyed in a collision.
You mean drop it to 20-30% of what he’s asking? Because even that’s a stretch given the problems it has.
Like most universal tools, I’m sure they are great around the house on things that don’t have access problems, but I stick to the correct size and appropriate dimension wrench or socket for vehicle work.
