I work with a German tech manufacturer just west of Stuttgart. Its a small company and they recently took the plunge and swapped out their company vehicles (which ranged from A4 wagon, V class MB, and a Q7) for Model X’s. They had some marketing motivation because they own a separate company that does Solar in some

I saw someone post the Vehicross (sp?) on here, bu that’s the wrong Isuzu. the Poochie of cars, is the gen 2 Isuzu Amigo. Here was a trash car that tried to be both butchy, and ironic. Ugh, fuck, they even introduced it with this slap in the face of an ad. In case you’re unaware, the ad emulated an ad for Slinky. This

Not so much the car, but this commercial for sure.

I guess I’ll chime in here considering there is some uninformed comments (on the internet? no way!).

- The hyrbid system has been retuned using information from the NSX testing. This is the now the fastest sedan acura has ever produced.

I don’t understand why they bother with half-hearted attempts. They should drop the NA model entirely and only have the Hybrid if they want it to be a true-flagship.

I have been accused of being the only person under 50 who gets excited by late-model Acuras

Used rental cars are an excellent purchase, I don’t understand the issue. I know when I get into a rental car my first thought is, “This is not my vehicle. I’m borrowing it and will treat it with care and respect.”

Nice try BMW owner.

I’m with you - and have been very happy with the used Leaf that we bought. Even with limited range, it is a very useful car around the city, and super cheap to operate. I really needs almost zero maintenance outside of tires, but the few warranty issues we have dealt with were quickly dealt with by local Nissan

What service? Electric vehicles need very little maintenance. I’ve had one for two years and haven’t had to visit the dealer once. I fill up the tires with air and I’m good.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, that found the majority of people who don’t always use seat belts skip out on ride-hailing services.

Yup that’s how we ship ours too

This isn’t honest journalism. This is how EVERY car company shows cars avaialbe at X price. Bad headline is bad.

On sailboats, fluid dynamics are important above AND below the water!

long live the ridgeline. the truck that fits 90 percent of the populations needs

Actually most states (~32) require it. The idea of having the unique legal identifier for a vehicle visible from both ends makes a lot of sense to me.

“car breaking to the left in the middle of a”

Still fewer nightmares than my n54 e92 xi...

No comment on the looks, but they’re actually a great compromise between the two. My fiance’s 2008 CRV has been one of the most convenient cars ever.

The mileage. It’s a fantastically basic thing to want to know about a used car (even one as seemingly well kept as this), so failure to show or mention it is a red flag. And the prudent buyer is already looking for those if a car is priced at half what they go for.
