Replying to myself - I suppose the reason they do it this way is to balance the online component. Everyone has an equal chance of having every kart component or character.

Both sticks on the bottom are only standard for Playstation controllers. XBox controllers have the left stick on top and the right stick on the bottom. Wii U controllers have both sticks on top.

Those NeoGeo ads were kind of brilliant. Those are the only ones out of the lot that pretty much hold up.

All you have to do is change one setting, open the app, and then change the setting back and then you're set.
