It wouldn’t shatter: the same “three-bank” configuration was used in 12-cylinder form in the Napier Lion aero engine, and both Hispano-Suiza and Isotta-Fraschini did actually build aero W18s using steel and magnesium alloy block materials.
Watched Dale Earnhardt Senior and crew swap the cam at Bristol once during the race. The cam had snapped and they pulled in behind the wall. Cherry picker pulled the engine and transmission. Removed and replaced the cam and rinsed it out well. Buttoned it all back out and sent him back out 200 laps or so down in next…
Thanks for the tip! (I’m not being sarcastic—I know little about WI craft beer apart from New Glarus. I’ll have to look out for those brands next time I’m in state). The trick is convincing my relatives there who think Corona is exotic to try it.
I think NG, especially Spotted Cow, is entry-level “craft” beer for those who primarily drink Miller Lite. Which in and of itself is fine, but the majority of the Spotted Cow fans are just Miller Lite fans that aren’t going to evolve beyond that.
Raised Grain is awesome, I’ve been going there since it opened (less than 10 min from my house). It has made a big splash on the brewery scene in the MKE area in only 15+ months of being open, and is served on tap at a lot of places already. Plus, love the food trucks they have. Stopping there Friday to get 3 growlers…
New Glarus is overrated. I live in Chicago and swear people obsess over it primarily because they have to grab a couple sixers before returning from their trip to Lake Geneva. Wisconsin has better beers than New Glarus.
I came here to say that Spotted Cow is overrated.
No good beer, though?
But what about the Beretta GTU? My wife had one of those before I met her. It broke so many times in the first year of ownership that she used the lemon law (which took like 6 months to process) to force them to buy it back. In the meantime, she bought a Tacoma to drive while the Berretta sat in her driveway because…
No, you’re thinking of the Beretta Z26.
I’m actually digging that silver interior quite a bit. C3 Vettes are a bit of a mixed bag. Sure, they look the part. But they’re about as quick in a straight line as a Z24 Cavalier.
The Smithsonian National Zoo has brought in Sparky, the Sumatran tiger you see above, for the sole purpose of sexing up “proven breeder” Damai (also a tiger).
This tiger should’ve gone to the Buffalo Zoo, then.
Until the prototypes look like this I’m not interested.
If transporting everything by helicopter was economical, we’d be doing that right now.
FOUND IT!
