While I agree that the later US versions of the Countach had tons of warts (bumpers, taillight/rear end cover, etc) and the gaudy front wing and vented rocker panels certainly didn't do any favors, the smooth Euro-spec 500s and 5000QV looks utterly sublime IMO.

Smartass, definitely, but clearly you missed my point. If a hellaflush car is at risk of violently blowing out a tire at the advent of a pothole (which they are—stretched tires often need to run pressures significantly higher than the suggested maximum pressure), that puts everyone in and around that car in danger.
