I'm in this boat. I used to be 'the quiet kid' back in my school days. Eventually I grew up, found a girl, had some kids, and finally reached a point where I realized you can just go talk to people and nothing horrible happens.

I still find it really taxing to be in social situations, and I still fuck up and say
