One thing about humans that I find fascinating is how the sense of smell is tied to memories. The scent sawdust produces always reminds me of my grandfather who did carpentry. Pretty much everything about woodworking reminds me of him and I instantly time-travel (Yes, Please) back to summers at my grandparent's house…
Also from these dudes.... and kind of better.
Yeah, I didn't grow up poor but this complaint is still grating. Even most folks in my graduating class didn't have this particular existential crisis because we couldn't get paying white-collar jobs at all, much less inspiring ones.

Shaw (where the highway stoppage happened) has roads blocked with street detours and armed police for a planned protest on I-44. Ferguson is keeping the police out and being allowed to burn. They either want to punish the…
My local news station (WINK news, SWFL) actually did make a point of saying that while there is violence, looting, and fire, it is NOT indicative of all of the protestors, many who are peaceful. I was pleasantly surprised.
On twitter from some Americans there is more outrage about protesters burning the American flag than there is about innocent black lives being taken. Probably an unpopular opinion but i am glad they burnt it.
