I recently got married in Baltimore (wife used to live there temporarily) and my best friends came to party the week before. We hung out around Fells Point, saw the sights, and generally had a good time. Some time after the wedding, all of my friends enjoyed Baltimore, but honestly said they probably wouldn’t ever go

It’s because it’s cool to like her. She does some good and is, at times, somewhat of a good role model, but that is debatable. If you were on this site 5 years ago, it would have been Iggy Azelia or Nicki Minaj. You have to remember, most of the bloggers are in their twenties.

As a Spurs fan, I will never not give out stars for this.

As someone born and raised in San Antonio...you’re not wrong.

He’s mad because he got caught the cards in his sleeve. He’s a cheating, summa bitch that deserves a life of eternal upper deckers.

Yeah I’m wondering the same thing. I haven’t been, but I hear it’s very lovely.

Gotcha. For whatever reason, I stupidly thought testing would only be effective at school and didn’t consider stuff staying in your system after school. Hell, even kids that have parents that smoke would be in trouble. I finally see why testing isn’t such a good idea in that regard. Thanks for helping me understand

I think there’s a disconnect, but I agree things done outside of school is none of the school’s business. You’re right that schools aren’t parents and when the kids are in school, the admin and teachers are the guardians of the kids until school’s out. Anything outside of those hours is on the parents for sure.

I made the all or nothing comment because of your the last sentence in your original post, but now I understand what you meant.

I’m not sure anything good has ever come from tobacco/nicotine. It should be reclassified as you say, based on the terrible effects it has on people that consume it and those around them.

First, if a kid is attending their school, it is very much their business to know if they are breaking the law.

So it’s the schools that are impairing the chances a student doesn’t go to a certain college? Are you kidding me? You’re taking the accountability away from the students.

You’re saying the school administration, which cannot possibly test every vape pen for weed, employs a blanket solution to stop kids from performing an illegal activity and this is somehow not the right solution because kids on suspension will still smoke at home? So they should just do nothing and let kids vape? I

Perhaps those habits didn’t deter you from having success in your life (I’m assuming you’re doing well), but not everyone has the fortitude to be successful and consume alcohol, nicotine, or other narcotics. For some people, it’s very difficult to stop any of those habits once started. I agree about the hair color

None of those activities are a right for students. They are privileges. Students have the right to take the bus, have books provided for them, and the right to an education (even if it is subpar). Participating in sports is a privilege and students that don’t adhere to a school’s policy forfeit their chances to

Yeah I think we should discourage kids from doing stupid things, especially in schools.

Most kids (read: THE VAST MAJORITY) are dumb and will do dumb things. Some have terrible parents that don’t care about their well being and some have great parents but the kids are still shit. When it comes to participating in activities, which are not a right, but a privilege for students, I see nothing wrong with

Child abusers for sure, but death isn’t the outcome in all cases. I’d suggest dialing it back a bit.
