Of course it won't replace a dSLR but it can replace a p/s any day.

I'm looking forward to this. Apple better not disappoint.

That's a cheap one. The point is not the color, is the design. No one says they should pay fees or get sued for that but it's a blatant copy and there's no other way to put it. Samsung aimed for Apple's model when it comes to selling phones, and it's working. That's why Apple sued, they're worried.

    If only they looked good...

I don't think the point of comparing the boxes was to compare their size, but the design of the things printed in them, rather.

Sony's is perfectly fine and better looking than the iPad. Opinions, what a wonderful thing. Whether you think it's malformed, or not, doesn't mean it's not there. Plus, I never said it was acceptable or for Apple to sue Samsung for that.

I wasn't talking about the bezel, or the front. But you really tried.

Sony did a good job making their own designs, Acer not so much, but at least they tried. Why can't Samsung? Sure, the iPad's design is pretty standard but a huge company like Samsung could use this oportunity to innovate and draw a line between their products and Apple's.

Ugh no. Just no. They fucked up.

    There's an app for that!

    Don't we all?

Yeah I agree. WP7 hasn't really taken off majorly so they better do something.

WP7 is the proof that they can. The question is, are they going to let OS X and mobile OSes take over until they realize they have to change it up, like they did with WP? Time will tell.

    God save us.

I'm not feeling it. I thought they would do just like with WinMo and build it from the ground up for, or at least part of the UI, specially for tablets. The tablet looks way too PC like and the PC has annoying and unnecessarily huge icons. I hope and think it'll be different from what's shown in the video, cause, to

I was rather talking about the implementation of multitouch, the first successful massively-commercial implementation of multitouch ever, that I'm aware of; and most importantly, one that was implemented and worked seamlessly throughout the whole OS. And beyond that, the gestures that came with it. Before the iPhone

Is it really that hard to understand that I was talking about the software's interface and not the phone's hardware? It's quite concerning you couldn't get it. Also, I could argue that Apple was the one to make touchscreen popular on moblie phones, phones like the prada were a rare thing to see back in the day. You

I quite honestly can't wait for BB to die. Sorry RIM.

I think rather than smartphones they're talking about the new interfaces and way of using phones that came with the iPhone. If you think there isn't a huge leap between what smartphones looked like in 2006 and how they started looking like in 2008, you should check again. I think that alone is worth a whole new

Space scares the shit out of me.
