@1dollar93: But most calls don't require a transport. In many (most?) urban areas, a fire truck is dispatched along with EMS on all medical calls anyway because the fire trucks usually arrive before the ambulances. That's why so many large FDs made a push to have all firefighters certified as EMTs. If the big rigs can

@1dollar93: I don't buy that. Every major city PD has a motorcycle division, and several states even have state troopers/highway patrolmen on motorcycles.

This is cool. I don't understand why more American cities don't have EMS first responders on motorcycles. It seems like it would be a lifesaver in many ways; from starting defibrillators quicker, to slowing the truck because patient assessment has already been completed.

@ysrjunkie: If you think the heavily-regulated automobile industry (or any other industry in a modern, developed economy) has anything to do with "free enterprise", you're fooling yourself.

@ak4ray005: In the U.S., burglary isn't considered a petty offense. In many states, a homeowner may legally kill a burglar who is present in his residence.

@Jim_Lampleys_Hair: Dario Franchitti tried NASCAR and Sarah Fisher even spent a couple of years in a NASCAR feeder series when she couldn't get funding or a ride.

@bobbo33: Check earth911.com. They have a recycler search engine that's simply wonderful.

@blackbird_pie: I have no doubt he intentionally wrote "raping" because he thought it would be funny.

Anna, you missed the worst part about Yale Reardon. Look at his former Twitter bio thanks to cached page linked below:

@shallnot: Even in countries like China or Korea, you have to go to an "Oriental medicine" practitioner if you want those thousand year old folk "remedies". If you go to a medical doctor, they'll treat you with "Western" medicine.

There's a wonderful fake Milka Duno Twitter account that is ripping on all of the other IRL drivers. They seem to really think its her:

Ceci n'est pas une crack pipe.

@Elhigh: Actually it's a perfect target for terrorists who are angry with perceived American interventionism (e.g., Al-Qaeda). It's a huge embarrassment to several agencies that this car remained there unchecked for so long.

@Cornflower: I doubt that's a concern to people who have publicly-available Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, et al. accounts.

@mathyooo: Hahaha so true. Overheard from the VEs when I took my Tech-class exam in 2007: "Yep, Hillary's gonna take our guns away."

So that's what that secret Mormon underwear looks like.
