I enjoyed the first one, but was disappointed that [SPOILERS] we never actually got to see Black London. I did not know there was a sequel, I will have to check it out.

6 was and always will be my favorite. I did really enjoy 15 however, it’s probably in my top 5. I really liked all the 6 references (from the posessed painting, world of ruin, and even the theory that Noctis, like Terra, might be half Esper/Aeon/Primal/Eidolon/Summon/Archaeon/Etc.
