This is one reason among many that I’m pro-choice. If someone wants to carry to term, we should support them; if someone doesn’t want to, we should support them. Never, at any point, should the choice be made for them.

I think Liggon enter her own/her friend’s vehicle, not the vehicle of the person they were beating. So it was revenge for the beating, not self-defense.

Saying the death was over the sauce and seeming like they want to portray the girl that got stabbed as some innocent victim really is a bit much considering the whole beat down that they gloss over.

If schools are just for academic learning, why would any of these gender issues matter? How does it matter at all whether I, as the teacher, call your child Jake or Amy as long as they understand the math?

That is an incredibly naïve understanding of the role of schools in children’s’ lives. If it were only about “learning academic subjects” what was the big deal about “socialization” during the pandemic? Art isn’t for “conservatives”. I put that in quotes because today’s conservatives are really reactionary fascists. Appreciation of art requires self reflection and empathy at the minimum. Fascists can’t do that.

Christ, I just watched an interview with this guy. They played a clip from an earlier rally where he was saying “he doesn’t believe white supremacists exist.” Calling them a “unicorn.” And then when confronted about the recent Florida shooting, which was 100% committed b/c of racism, he got all huffy and kept talking…
