Oh my good that two door is sexy.

A 1953 Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta. It would suck not being to drive it, but my god I could look at it for days.
In the latter half of the 80's, I lusted for a Chrysler Conquest TSI. In the latter half of the 90's, it was the Acura Legend Coupe. //bites fist//
I live in a golf cart friendly town (Dunedin, FL). You can find a gently used 48-volt cart in these parts in the $3 - 4K range. Even a lifted 4 passenger with lights, turn signals, horn and the other “required elements” to make it legal would be in the $5 - 6K range (newly rebodied on an older chassis).
I that price with our without batteries? 36 volt or 48 volt? Without batteries, get ready to tack another 800 - 1,000 onto that price point.
While not my cup of tea entirely, I was completely on board with the build, the workmanship and even (for the most part), the exterior styling. Then came the interior and I was transported into a world of 90s conversion vans.
Lighten up Francis. It wasn’t a complaint, it was an observation. With the wheels pushed all the way to the corners, it makes the wheelbase look really long.
Someone already did
That wheelbase though....wow.
“rusted like a David Tracy lawn ornament” earns you my star for today.
As a child of the 70s, my Dad had a Ford station wagon (Grand Torino Squire or Country Squire, I can’t remember) in yellow with the faux woodgrain trim. The third row faced rearward and it was awesome. You could ask the truckers to honk their horns with the universal “pull the horn cord” movement or you could make…
Ford didn’t adopt the SUV until the mid 80s. 1986 I believe and then it was “Sport Utility” no V. Jeeps have always been referred to Jeeps, but that won’t carry over to another brand. But I agree if it has no bed and has 4WD call it an SUV. If it has no bed and front-wheel drive it should be called a crossover. If…
With a 1970 Chevy Camaro grille.
The front quarter view reminded me of my MX6

This was mine. No steelies, no hemi, but boy was it a blast to drive.
I grew up in a small town in NE Massachusetts. We had an AMC dealer in town and I would walk past it everyday going to/from school. I thought the Eagles (particularly the coupe) were the greatest automobiles ever created.
That bat soup line is a tremendous gift that none of us deserve, but thank you for it. I’m going to work that into at least one conference call today and one dinner conversation over the weekend.
