Holy crap, I didn’t know that. I haven’t been into a brick and mortar store other than the grocery store in years.

I did actually.

This annoys the ever-lovin’-shit out of me. I’ve always heard of the “Craigslist 30" meaning everyone will offer you 30% less of your asking price (or more). I recently had 27 pairs of brand-new, never worn, Old Navy flip-flops. I offered them up on Facebook marketplace for $25 for all 27 pairs. That’s less than a

Until the people of planet earth make decisions that will lower the demand for fossil fuels and their products, what is Shell or any of the Super Majors to do? Society isn’t ready for a world without fossil fuels. Imagine no gasoline for cars, planes, boats, etc. or heating oil to heat your home in 5, 10 or 20 years

I’ve been crushing fares on Southwest. I fly to NH from Florida 7 - 8 times over the summer and I’m getting them for $180 round trip. Last year I was averaging $300 round trip. The USA will not be in quarantine post July 4th unless something catastrophic happens (worse than what we are seeing now) because King Trump

Nice job Torch. You’ve turned Jalopnik into an Equestrian/pre-mechanized war fetish site. I hope you’re happy.

Yes, you can, but you should consider going further south than DC IMHO. My primary residence is in Florida, but I have a summer house in New Hampshire. I fly up to NH about 7 - 8 times over the summer and rent cars. I thought about buying an SUV for up there but most anything in my price range had boatloads of rust.

I’m more curious about the white car behind it in the side shots.

I would have failed miserably.

Grew up in a small town in NE Massachusetts in the 70s and 80s. There was a guy in town who was in his early-to-mid 20s with a Cuda painted in Hunter Orange. No hood, engine sticking out, fat meats out back. This thing had so much power the thing would literally rock side to side while at idle at a stop sign.

Ben, if I may, I would like to add one more to your list of despicable behavior. The fucking people on twitter complaining to grocers about the lack of certain food stocks (and I ain’t talking TP) and having a tantrum because said grocer is not honoring rain checks during a pandemic.

Financing your first, second or even third car is understandable. After that, barring any unusual circumstances, you shouldn’t need to unless you are living beyond your means. First car, you’ve landed a solid job or just graduated school and need a car for work....cool.  Second car, maybe you want to treat yourself to

If you did it using Teams, i’d be all in, but I ain’t downloading Zoom onto any of my machines.

Thank god. There is nothing better than the tactical feel from a knob or switch to tell you that you’ve done what you wanted to do. Touch screens are a fab that needs to go away.

Said this to my cashier at Publix a couple of weeks ago. I said: “I can figure out a life without TP, beer? notsomuch. I’ll install a bidet if I have to.

I’m not sure if this is a kind gesture on Hertz’s part or a way to get to the front of the line when bailout money becomes available. I’d like to think it was done with humanity in mind, but the skeptic in me thinks otherwise.

I love everything about it, including the AIR BAG SUSPENSION, except for the block treatment in the camping area. Very nicely done 70s vintage shaggin’ waggin’ taken to the next level.

Damn, that sucks.
