While I don’t agree with the actions of the community (ie. taking it apart and billing him for it), if you can afford to own a plane, you should be able to afford to store it at a proper facility. You don’t buy a boat, RV or other “recreational style vehicle” if you can’t afford the storage and fuel.

I just soiled myself. That is stunning.
Don’t feel bad, I did exactly the same thing. In fact, it wasn’t until I read your post did I see the other two hoops. I think that makes me dumber than you
no, but three lefts do, home slice
Exactly, and I think that is reasonable. Some people’s level of reasonable is different, but I just think some folks want their pound of flesh out of VW’s hide while trying to make a few extra bucks to soften the blow on the $$ side of it.
Obviously the opinion of someone not directly affected by the situation. When you consider the scope of the fraud, the inconvenience experience by those affected, the financial loss (nobody is making money on this buyback), etc. they have every right to be a little pissed off and want to “stick it to the man.” Sure,…
This is the most compelling answer of the bunch
Good to know. I guess unless something popped up in a carfax, then one can figure out that a current model year with 2K miles on it is “as good” as CPO
Why would a 2017 Lincoln with only 2,000 miles not receive a CPO stamp of approval? Something is amiss here.
Bought a 91 CRX 5-speed in Celestial Blue Pearl paint. Brand new, out the door for less than $9,500. Replaced it in 200o with a Civic Hatchback with an automatic. I’ve have a special 2 x 4 in my garage that I hit myself with repeatedly every time I think about how stupid I was. I did have child #1 on the way, so…
EV race car in the trailer is Lightning’s new nemesis (Jackson Storm). Lightning has to adapt to the new technologies in racing in order to remain competitive. This crash is his six-million dollar man moment. They will rebuild him....better...stronger....faster.
1970 Plymouth Barracuda
Aside from the motorized seat belts, the Conquest Tsi/Starion widebody has been my favorite car (other than by beloved 1991 CRX).
Also, I didn’t see anything in the video that indicated an airbag deployment either. How does a truck sustain that amount of damage to the undercarriage without an airbag deployment?
I don’t disagree, but it seems like a lot of damage for what appears to be minimal air. I realize they are not designed for this type of abuse but that thing grenaded itself
Seemed like a pretty tame jump for that amount of damage (at least in comparison to the Raptor video).
