I don’t really remember the exact details and don’t care enough to go back and check specifics, but the lights had been fixed multiple times and the government was already scheduled to come out and repair them. Just appreciate the ingenuity and try not to find complaints.

Speaking of...

Definitely required. Something about the plate needing to be behind the taillight and/or wheel. You’ll notice every motorcycle has one from the factory.

Thanks. I was disappointed there was no mention of this in the article, and getting more disappointed with every flick of the scroll wheel through the comments.

No. The long focal length helps. Depth of field does, too, but nothing is wrong with the article.

Nakagami still isn’t a championship contender, and I’m not confident he ever will be, but he’s been riding a lot better since he switched to something more similar to Marquez’s riding style. I really hate that the loss of brakes -- which sounds like could have been avoided -- took Nakagami’s potential podium.

I keep hearing that, but the fact is — nobody knows how the season would be if he was racing.

I was sure he would be out for at least one race, possibly two. That was a nasty high-side. Again, he proves I’m underestimating him. He would have easily finished in 2nd if not for crashing. Insane after his 1st > 18th > 3rd position.

I’m excited too. I was looking forward to seeing what the brothers did this season, and whether Quarteraro could keep the heat on Marquez.

Tesla does more than just cars, though. Toyota only does cars. Just their battery tech alone is valuable. Look at their utility-scale batteries. Removing cobalt? Big deal

Ah, I was just joking about a person being tasked with restoring some data and having to hunt down and insert a tape — slow seek and access.

Tesla has been profitable for the past three quarters. If they’re profitable this quarter, they will possibly be listed on the S&P.

My +200TB home media server is almost full.

Sounds like seek and random access time was terrible.

Stocks are typically priced on future expectations, not current reality. Tesla does more than cars, and they are almost a decade ahead of other manufacturers. I’ll agree that it’s currently overvalued, but it’s not as simple as comparing it to an existing car company that only produces cars.

Anything that you have to fix by modifying what you bought is indeed a flaw. Many probably don't care or wouldn't notice the whistling, but it's still a flaw. If a Honda engineer explains that they intentionally engineered a whistling display, then I'll retract my statement.

If not for the ‘21 CBR1000RRRRRRRRR SP being something I felt worthy of a deposit... The CB1000R was the bike I planned to get. I still love the style and would love something a little more upright.

Mid 30s. Currently own a CRX, S2000, two sportbikes, and a CBR1000RR-R SP on order. I need a practical family/commuter car that can haul more than two people.

Only have 40k miles on my unmolested 2008 Chicane Silver with red interior and CR wheels. Paid $28k for it in 2010 or 2011 (can’t remember) and it only had 12k miles at that time. It’s been easy to keep the miles low since I work overseas, and seeing the current values I think it will be retired to a weekend-only car.

Yeah.
