I use it pretty often even for routes I know. Accidents are common so I like to know ahead of time if I should take another route. Even when I am confident I know a route, it’s nice to have to glance at just to assure me I haven’t missed a turn, and to tell me how to get to my destination when I do miss one...

You know... I have a big problem with asset forfeiture in a lot of cases. I’ve seen the shocking investigative reports. I don’t think if I’m driving down the interstate that I should have to explain or prove why I have a large amount of cash.

Are you talking about the Toyota Hilux and its popularity with terrorist groups? If so, this is a silly comment. Most vehicles in the region are garbage. Hilux are super cheap, but reliable, so are popular. These terrorists don’t walk into the local Syrian Toyota dealership, proclaim their terrorist ties, and bargain

Two piece air conditioners are popular in the middle east and likely elsewhere where HVAC isn’t guaranteed. We use them in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, etc...

Compression artifacts. Audio and video compression determines what detail to compress/lose by how likely it is to be noticed. Of course, it's an algorithm so not perfect. Dark scenes tend to look like poo when streaming.

I bought a 2008 Chicane Silver S2000 with red/black interior, no mods, no accidents, CR wheels, and 17,000 miles from the original owner in 2011 for $28,000. I bought it from the dealership and thought the price was steep but there were literally people showing up and looking at it while I was there and I had spent 2

I prefer the AP2 cluster, but it's probably because that's what is in my S2000. I give a star for S2000.

I’ve always been interested in a nice BMW Mx but am scared away by maintenance costs.

It wasn’t accessible until it was breached. It’s sensitive data — not classified. Classified is on an entirely closed network.

This is not a government network. It’s a private network for a defense contractor.

Classified information is airgapped. This isn’t classified.

DoD cyber security contractor here...

If you’re familiar with risk-management, you’ll understand why there are automated systems instead of people. Typically, there is a value placed on the data. Then you determine the cost of the vulnerability being exploited and estimate how often it will be exploited, which will

While it’s not a “brand new” Nissan Altima, I don’t understand all the negativity in the comments.

A lot of people would do what Coleman did without expecting anything in return. I help people just to know I did something nice. He got a car out of it. Yes, Offset apparently has a lot of money, but he did something he

I guess my comment disappeared?

I work cyber security for the DoD. I don’t know if you have any experience with “in-house” developed software for the DoD, but I feel you don’t have any if you are recommending it. In a world where companies could provide in-house software that’s on par with software developed by big

Thanks. I’m familiar with the grays, but still wasn’t seeing my own comments when showing “pending” comments. Assumed shenanigans.

AI project was pulled to stay in good graces with the confused but well-intentioned minds. I think they’d give priority to public opinion and their employees over a DoD contract being a global company. Skynet comparisons aren’t good for a company that relies on public perception to survive. Dropping the AI project is

Anything Secret or above would be on an entirely separate network. There are gateways between the public network and the closed networks, but while I’m not 100% how they function, there is surely some sort of air-gapping process to keep the two networks segregated.

I don’t see any reason a 3rd party wouldn’t be allowed

My comment seems to have been rejected? I assume because I referenced the well-known contract-granting process that was referenced by the OP? Interesting.

I used OVH a lot back in my torrenting days for dedicated seeding boxes. Good value.

I work cyber security for the DoD. I don’t know how much experience you have with “in-house solutions,” but I feel like you don’t have much since you suggested they do it... While there’s some definite variation in quality between developers, overall the quality is low compared to existing platforms.

What would make
