Nice article series. Love the car.

I had a 1991 CRX Si. 70mph on a highway, two dump-trucks enter the highway from a stop on a side road, one changes lanes to the one I’m in while maybe going 15mph, I make a futile attempt at avoiding the impeding collision, lose control, and wake up in a hospital. 30+ stitches to my face from something (rear-view

Myles is a cool guy. Nice seeing him hit his goals. Crazy build he always seems to squeeze more out of.

My parents barred me from motorcycles as a child. I never rode one until after I hit 18. They no longer could enforce rules and I had the option of buying a BUSA, BRO as an inexperienced driver.

I’ve got a Grom, CBR250R, and CBR600RR. If my child shows an interest, I’ll find him something even smaller than what I have

I paid $28,000 for a 2008 S2000 with 14,000 miles. 7 years later, it has a total of 40,000 miles. It was my daily driver for a while, now it’s almost a garage queen since I’m only in that part of the country a couple weeks a year.

Come to my garage, and gaze into its depths. For you will find a 2008 Chicane Silver Metallic S2000 with CR wheels and red/black interior. It only appears a couple weeks out of every year and has only traveled 40k miles in the 9 years it has graced our humble planet.

“Where 4K shines is in the other details, such as brightness, contrast, and color.” sounds like you’re saying 4K shines in brightness, contrast, and color.

Actually, I’m not wrong. I’m going to attempt to explain why, but I’m already convinced I’m wasting my time.

With the exception of FED, CRT, and OLED TVs, pixels themselves do NOT emit light. Lighting placed at the edge or the rear goes through the pixels. The pixels act as a screen, and either block light or open to

Last gen Panasonic plasma owner here. Will hold onto it until it dies.

4K has no impact on “brightness, contrast, and color.” That is entirely up to the display technology and panel. Resolution is the number of squares you’re looking at.

I have the last generation of Panasonic 65" plasmas and will likely hold onto it a couple more years, then jump to OLED. The blacks are black enough that I’ve accidentally left it on overnight, not realizing it was on because the black is so black. OLED is even better.

SD compared to HD is easy to tell a difference,

I wear:

Coincidentally, as soon as I go home on my vacation from Iraq next month -- I’ll be buying a Grom ;)

Yup, I feel the same way. I have three Honda bikes and four Honda vehicles at home. The bikes, in my honest opinion, are starting to fall behind. It looks like the new CBR1000RR made good strides in catching up, but they aren’t as easy of a choice as I felt they used to be. Here’s to hoping for the rumored

Honda has always done pretty great manual transmissions/shifters in their “sports” cars. At the moment, the shifter/transmission in my 2008 S2000 is still the best I’ve laid my hands upon. My CRX Si with an LS/VTEC swap and CTR transmission is a close second.

Beyond the Honda thing now, aside from their motorcycles,

Nah, I still don’t appreciate what Texas dad is doing. It’s still irresponsible.

Was in Kabul for a couple years. Pretty sure that the only dogs I heard barking were working dogs. As someone that lives in the country when stateside, it was odd not hearing any barking in a densely populated city.

I don’t try it on my S2000 because I’m scared. Fortunately I only got caught in rain once while the top was down. Instead of the shame of pulling over on a busy highway to put it up, I just drove faster instead. I stayed dry. The red leather seats got a little damp, but no harm was done. It’s top is reasonably fast,

I’ve never seen Grain Belt in the places I usually settle for Yuengling.

As others have said, it’s my favorite easy-to-get cheap beer.
