As much as I agree with the "more more more because awesome!"-mentality, this is one of those games where I can agree that enough is enough. I mean, to call the game huge and diverse to the point of insanity would do injustice to these aspects of the game. Would it be a good idea to look into implementation by the

- "Laugh-or-I-shoot"-humor
- Forced humor
- Radically unfunny humor
Etc. etc. Plenty to replace it with :p I still disagree with you, but I can see where you're coming from. It really is a matter of taste.

Your post hurts me physically, and not because of nostalgia :'(

Can someone tell me what motivates publishes to pull the plug on long-running projects like this? I mean, if the dev worked on it for three years, a considerable amount of money already went into it and it's probably mostly done. Why not stick it out and recoup losses by getting it on store shelves instead of just

GoG also supports PayPal if you're more comfortable with that, I think they offer some region-specific options as well. Out of interest, though: if you don't use your credit card online, then when and how do you use it? Just asking out of interest, in my country debit cards are the default and credit cards a sort of

I'm not sure if my wording was a bit wonky then (it really might have been, not a native speaker and such), but what I only said in general is that I hate it when it's flaunted - nowhere pointing to Notch and his swankmansion. Looking at it again I can definitely see the context blurring the meaning though, so I

No star for you, considering you made a very decent argument (yet partly without relation to my post: I didn't say he flaunts it and admitted my own jealousy openly), righteously pointing out I have it relatively well, yet afterwards calling me a crybaby. That said, you raise good points - it's one of the reasons why

I highly doubt if I'll ever have an infinity pool, being a scientist in the field I'm aiming for isn't exactly a wealthy pursuit. Then again, I'd rather do something I like for a living and scrape by but be satisfied, than work a job I hate but have the ability to buy enough coke and hookers to snort the unhappiness

That's the thing: I didn't judge Notch at all, nowhere in my post. If anything I admitted my own jealousy and bitterness, while commenting on the ridiculousness of 6k dollar toilets. It's interesting that people attack me for that and see things I didn't say, to be honest, you're not the only one that seems to see

Don't say that too loud, or you'll be branded a socialist. Or even redder: a communist!

I wish more people in these comment threads would see this post. I was also hit by a car that didn't pay attention, I got off light with no permanent damage but it forever ingrained the image in my mind of a big hunk of metal moving at the speed of death. Every time I see a reckless driver on the road, that's my first

Yeah man, I agree. Hate it when people do that.

The funny thing is I'm being blasted left and right, on accusations of being jealous (as I said), being bitter (said that too), being lazy (because I'm poor?), you name it. While fully admitting to being green with envy, and not feeling ashamed because of that because it's perfectly human to want more than what we

Don't worry, easy mistake to make considering the majority of commentors here are from the States. And thanks for taking the time to just ask instead of pass judgment, most of the comments to my original posts have a very... negative tone. Which I can understand, yet still find strange and annoying.

I respect you mate, I come from a background of special education and I know a lot of kids/people with autism and even did some remedial teaching with/to a few of them. You do good work :)

Really? I didn't know this, would explain a few things. Got a link(s) detailing this situation?

At least, and I agree with others that rightfully corrected me on that, he earned his money fair and square. No underhanded tactics, no tax evasion, and regardless of what we can say about the fairness of his forture compared to other jobs, it's clean money. That does make it easier for me to swallow, though I admit

Hi Limeloop, I find that I also agree with a lot of the posters who disagree with me, so I guess the truth is somewhere in the middle. Then again, I openly admit to being a bit sour about things, so there you have it.
