I cant speak for larger companies because they're not as open, but most indie devs report massive numbers from steam sales. PixelJunk Eden sold their $10 game for $1 and doubled its total income in 8 hours.

I stopped using cash when I discovered its one of the dirtiest things handled on a daily basis..
Shenmue II seemed like a cool game. I was too young though.. Spent all my time at the virtual quarter machines trying to get sonic figurines.

Every top grossing game on Android is F2P.
Not for me its not. Its fast as any other browser available... Maybe it has to do with your connection to steam. I can download games at an average of 3mb/s through steam using their local servers. And my internet connection is 50mb down.

When I see "Murder Simulator", I instantly think of the Manhunt series.

So I just read an article about a woman who won an Audi on Price is Right, most expensive prize on the shows history. Also found out to win a prize like that, you have to come with the taxes upfront, which is usually 1/3 of the value of the item. On this show, there is no cash equivalent option.
No more practical than a guy who created the game getting hit with an infringement notice.
In a sense, Youtube is over the situation.They aren't going to change it. This is a non issue to them. Have you seen the message they put out to partners? Let me sum it up:

For me, it was the complete opposite. The story kept me going, but the gameplay was a slog.
I have 50 down/7 up for $64 from Comcast. Not a terrible price. They removed the monthly caps as well.
