Please prove these claims you're making about Ubisoft's intent. Because if they've actually said that they want people to Think About the game, then, by definition, they're not promoting it like a "random, silly game".
Because he's apparently forcing some guy to play a game with a live grenade, is well-armed, and is sitting on a Buddha statue.
Problem is, they're often just the tip of the iceberg. It's easy to say the folks using the #killallmen hashtag on tumblr and twitter don't really represent feminists and the movement isn't really sexist, but it's a lot harder to explain why the movement usually calls rape and abuse "violence against women".

They did that in FC3. No one cared. They did complain about Jason apparently being the savior of all the brown people, completely missing the point that Citra was just using him to get what she wanted anyway.
And in fact, the cover of FC3 had Vaas menacing some white dude buried in the sand.
