Sure, swarms of undead are a helluva challenge but, on an individual basis, you're still facing down something that's about the same size as you.

"tried"

Except that the Patriarchy says that men are supposed to protect women with their lives, and overwhelmingly portrays abuse to women, even in self-defense, as a horrible, horrible thing. By contrast, when women hit around men, they probably deserved it, or it's comedy, or she was acting in self-defense.

You're missing my point. "The Patriarchy" does not say women cannot harm men. It says that when a woman slaps a man, punches a man, throws a plate at a man, sometimes even kills a man, that he probably did something to deserve it.

Mmm, that's some good 70s.

Implied torture < onscreen torture, in terms of impact, all other things being equal. Naomi wasn't even a combatant. Neither is Paz. The Boss was a combatant, and she wasn't tortured. Eva was briefly tortured by Volgin, who also tortured Granin and Snake. (I went and had a think about it.)

Being mildly sardonic is being insufferable? Boy, you don't want to be around when I lay into someone.

>Actually I don't. You simply seem to refuse understanding my perspective.

You sure are having a hard time explaining how what he said implied his opinion was universal.

Frank Miller isn't exactly the most charitable towards Superman, and he was trying to capture Batman, IIRC.

Trust me, this sort of nonsense isn't limited to Americans.

The complaints were, more specifically, that she was going to be raped, not just assaulted. I misspoke.

Sprinting around shooting enemies in the face? Who does Snake think he is, a Call of Duty Multiplayer character?

Which still isn't implying that TAG thought their opinion was universal. I cited the later post to show that TAG wasn't saying it was universal, specifically since Scruff probably didn't see it.

Incidentally, people were against Tomb Raider depicting some guy sexually assaulting Lara (in the final product, it turned out to be just getting handsy) for the same reasons. Notably, none of the people complaining had a problem with them trying to kill her. Among the rationales deployed was the claim that most

Repeating the contested assertion doesn't make it true.

Good thing he clearly didn't assert anything of the sort, then.

I like how you don't address the fact that he said it's not worth paying for.
