It’s funny - the crippling anxiety I have comes from people ghosting on me and treating me like shit. What gets me is that you’re supposed to just pretend everything is ok and not confront the person.

I can’t believe how some people text and expect you to just drop everything you’re doing to talk to them. I had a guy text me non-stop, who was supposed to be at WORK himself. I was like, wtf are you doing there that you can spend the time to send me this shit?

People have become so passive aggressive it’s disgusting. It’s so easy to have a “Look, we need to talk” sit down. My own fucking roommate doesn’t even talk to me when we are both at home at the same time. She sends me texts. WTF!!!! Crazy.

I was asking because repeated ghosting is definitely a THING (as you will see from others on this thread). Her crazy reaction could have been to having been ghosted previously, and if it was from you, then you’re a dick. If not, then you’re not.

I agree with you. I just think in the case of Yale, these students are given incredible visibilty - I don’t know that many other schools sponsor NYC Gallery exhibits of their students work. I know it’s a proximity thing, but still. It’s kind of ridiculous.

Definitely a weak move. I went to the kids’ photo tumblr. I’m not sure what his other work looks like, but the stuff posted there is unimpressive in my opinion (as another photographer). I had totally been wondering what the deal was with her husband. It’s still kind of unclear what the true story is from this tidbit, but I wonder if it was not actually him oppressing her, but more like him just wanting her to be herself. So weird!!!!
