I’m excited for this, but this isn’t the first time a transgender person has played a recurring transgender character on broadcast TV. Candis Cayne was on Dirty Sexy Money on ABC in 2007.

Seeing it on the 27th! I’m so excited (tried, and tried and tried to when the lottery when it was at the public theater). If you’re a theater fan, buy your tickets NOW. The prices aren’t going down any time soon, I doubt there will be many discount tickets and the lottery had 700 people show up on the first night.

700 people showed up in person for the lottery on their first night of previews. When they did Today Tix (a mobile app) during their public theater run, thousands of people signed up every day. I’m recommending to all of my friends to buy their tickets ASAP. I wouldn’t lean on the lottery.

Yeah. Some mornings I’ll only give 50%, but I find I feel so much better after spinning and more awake during the work day.
