I was just talking about making ice cream this morning. I love cooking, but can't bake in the summer (small NYC apartment, no central air), so I make a ton of crazy ice creams. Im really into weird flavors like avocado and sriracha.

I think you just be honest, like you were here. Say you're interested bc you've never been to a swingers club before. If you're intimate enough that you're regularly fucking this woman, you should be intimate enough to be honest. Just have a conversation.

Thanks to the recommendations of many Jezzies, I started watching Call the Midwife. Already into the second season. Such an amazing show! I cry almost every episode.

I'd say it's pretty true of rich girls of any race. Rich people are really the only people who can study abroad. It's an expensive experience and you can't work during the time. It's not something everyone can afford.

Damn. I was going to ask for his number ;)

Here here! I don't currently live with a dude, but I've had male roommate in the past. My tampons have been known to show up everywhere from the bathroom, to the floor, to the kitchen table (clearly these are all packaged and unused).

I think a lot of it is generational. I'm young and I have young parents. I think guys are much more comfortable with talking about those things now (I just had a work conversation about Diva Cups and I'm the only woman in the office). I won't date a guy who is grossed out about periods. I've said this before on

The embarrassing stories are the worst! They gave me nightmares about everything, from wearing white to kissing boys to walking out of the house.

I grew up in a household where my father works for a company that makes tampons and pads. It was never a big deal. My dad was not the kind of guy who would get freaked out by them or have issues buying them for me or my mom. They were joked about. I'm very "whatever" about my period now. I don't care if people see me

I agree. I actually think Sorkin has NO idea how to write woman. I even have issues with CJ. I think on paper CJ is a really strong character, but Sorkin frequently has his female characters ask male characters questions they should already know the answer to (or would know the answer to in their position) to help

Off topic, but Donna is the WORST, talk about a lame and weak woman who makes most of her large decisions around the men in her life (yes, she finally becomes somewhat of a person in the last season)! Josh and Amy Forever!!

Looks like when I switch to FireFox it works okay. I'm outdated and usually just use Safari.

This is 100% off topic, but I was hoping someone could help me out. After the first two discussions, all the other ones are pasted on top of each other (so I can't read anything bc it's layers of words). Are other experiencing that? Is it my browser? And when I click the arrows it takes the discussions away.

photogenic white girls also deserve justice for their rapes.

You know you don't have to have a wedding to be married?

Isn't pregnancy an elective procedure? It's covered.

So tomorrow I'm having 12 people over to my small NYC apartment for Easter. A little nervous!

I don't think so? Nellie was her best friend. But I haven't read any of those books in 15 years.

I haven't read the books in awhile. Maybe I should do that. The dolls hold so much value to me, not only for my memories, but because my grandma made a bunch of clothes of my dolls (and matching outfits for me). If anything happened to them I'd be in tears.

I LOVED that tour! I did it when I was like 7. My family was very pro-american girl.
