The Halo looks like something that someone’s kid drew on a napkin at Fudruckers. At least Indy put some thought into the design and technology in the material. When tasked to create a safer cock pit, the pinnacle of Motorsports just decided to make an ugly roll cage.

They should implement a HUD into it later on.

It still looks better than the halo, regardless.

Having had three of those I can attest, if the steering system is factory perfect... it’ll still be terrible. Like “turn a half revolution of the wheel to change lanes at highway speed” terrible.

There’s still plenty of work to do, clearly. Between figuring out the trans issue, replacing all the fluids, changing out the brakes (shoes, pads, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, rear brake hardware) and swapping in new ball joints and tie rod ends, I’ve got plenty of work to keep me busy in my cold garage.

Why do the WRC cars look so good??

I’m mad stocked for Hyundai this season. I’ve been following Haydon Paddon for the last couple of years, and boy is it exciting to watch him drive.

The marathons that they would run on new years day. My wife hated it.

RedBull TV has pretty good daily highlights show and they will do full coverage of some special stages. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Are you insane? That’s not what people want. They want a lifted Corolla hatchback crossover thingy with 120 hp and 15 speed auto trans with no real capability offroad or on road. WE KNOW what young people want, OK?

Toyota knows how to generate some excitement in racing when it wants to. Too bad it doesn’t trickle down to their cars. How about a Yaris TRD Toyota? a little Turbo 1.6 with 180-200 hp 6 speed would be a lot of fun and get those young people into the show rooms you’ve been after.
