    You expect racing incidents in a race. Even at-fault incidents where someone gets penalized.

    Go after the track owners and the FIA itself for passing an unsafe racing environment.

    I kind of look at it this way. Drivers have to feel comfortable being at the limit of their abilities to be competitive in F1. To do that they need to:

    Racing incidents are to be expected when you partake in races. Drain covers popping out and destroying cars aren’t race incidents.

    In the Drivers’ Meeting that F1 posted to YouTube a day or two ago, it’s not even the Haas team that raises the question of who pays. Lewis Hamilton brought it up, pointing out that not every team is made of money, and Charlie Whiting encouraged Haas to talk to the track owners.

    I live in California and nothing you can say will calm me to fuck down. Just in the last 10 years our smog regulations have gone through the roof. Knowing how this state works I wouldn’t be surprised if they set a goal of 2025-2030. But... also knowing how this state works, enthusiast are going to get screwed in this.
