It will get there. That’s what it looks like now, but as ev sales go up, we’ll see more charging stations until it isn’t an issue at all.

It’s the same thing with people who buy giant pickups because they might tow a boat once or twice a year. People are apparently unaware you can rent vehicles of all sizes and capabilities.
In Jeff Noon’s novel Vurt (written in 1993), movies in the future are just called “Disneys” because Disney bought every media company. Looks like that’s where we’re headed.
Brabus Smarts are not an uncommon thing. You could buy them at the dealership.
So everyone has to drive a tank now? I don’t like large cars and I think it’s stupid to say that now I’m forced to enter this arms race of bigger and bigger vehicles.
There’s a lot of advantages to buying a new car, and the Mirage isn’t that bad.
That place is definitely shady, but it’s actually really cool to visit. You’ll see some incredibly rare and unusual cars in amazing states of decay.
There were cars that were contemporaries of the Pinto that had a greater propensity for bursting into flames. The Pinto was a damn fine car.
Not for their entire existence, actually. And the original Cougar was awesome.
Because it looks fucking awesome.
As someone who has owned one and spent a lot of time behind the wheel of an Isetta I have to say it is objectively a good car. It was a car with a purpose; to be very cheap transportation in Europe after the devastation of WWII. It performed that job perfectly and saved BMW’s ass in the process. It didn’t make them…
It’s an old car. No one is buying it to daily drive. I had one and did all sorts of work on it and trust me, there’s way more annoying cars to work on. You sound like the wimpiest car guy in the world.
I find this show to be the most confusing thing to watch. Everything about it: the production design, casting, the blandness of the plots; is set up for it to be a spoof. But, it obviously isn’t anymore. I keep waiting for the gags that never come. I’m surprised people like it so much since it’s a pretty lackluster…
They should have abandoned the whole Picard concept after that miserable first season and just given Seven her own show. She absolutely shines despite the dreck around her. The only character they got right.
A Voisin Biscuter. A Spanish microcar that’s basically a go-kart with a body designed by the legendary Gabriel Voisin. Sequential shifting on the column, tiny two-stroke motor. Everyone should drive something like this.
The police are public servants and their activities are public. The very nature of their job means that any member of the public should be able to record what they’re doing in any fashion they want.
Nothing beats the DAF script on their early cars.
The dealership model is not inherently bad. It’s the people who own, run, and are employed by dealerships who suck. I like being able to browse, and test drive. I don’t even mind haggling. It’s just that the people are horrible. The manufacturers need to have much more oversight over their dealerships to make it a…
It’s not a dumb take. It’s entirely accurate. It’s a lament. They acknowledge that Land Rover is building this because it will sell and make money. It’s just a shame that what sells and makes money is boring cars that all look pretty much alike. There was a time when this was not the case.
Peugeot 106 GTi. An underrated French hot hatch that’s an absolute hoot to drive.
