Valkyrie Profile. Suikoden. Vagrant Story. Tactics Ogre. And so on and so forth.

The next SMB game needs to figure out how to combine the best elements of SMW with the best elements of SMB3.

You accidentally left out the 'SMB3 is' part off of the beginning of your sentence.

Unfortunately, the speed running scene for SMW is forever spoiled by that one tool assisted glitch run which revealed you can just reprogram the game on the fly to send you straight to the ending from level 2 (which contrary to its name can be played as the first level).

That's not ironic, it's just an unfair criticism.

Also in FFV the number of female party members is greater than the number of male party members. I think it's the only Final Fantasy game where that's true (other than X2 and Lightning Returns of course).

I'm fine with that, but then I have fond memories of Guardian's Crusade.

You know encephalitis is an internal brain condition right? It doesn't normally have a profound effect on physical appearance.

Well, if I can't laugh at my own misspellings...

Don't do it man! You are gambling with your soul! And more importantly your money!

I dig that griffin boss. This game looks like it might be up my ally.

It's like rai-eee-ain.

No amount of time in development could have turned that turd into gold... just a slightly less pungent turd.

Oh hey, an RPG where you start at max level and with all the loot. Now that doesn't sound like a non-game.

If you didn't follow it, there is an explanation in the responses. Long story short, Ness has the most awesome glitch in the history of fighting game glitches.

Oh, hey, that's a good point to make. Maybe amiibo is already that monetization platform. It's a little muddier since Amiibo works with numerous games and has a lot of external costs associated with it (manufacture, retail, etc), but it's certainly something.

I think the lack of dogs, moogles, robot cat monsters, rats, adorable and tragic magic children, and other assorted monsters and oddballs is a slightly bigger deficiency.

It's not really 'milking DLC ' if it exists to fund the continued development of a game. I mean, yeah, they could just continue to sell the characters piecemeal or in the form of expansion packs like with Mario Kart, but that could eventually lead to a nasty amount of audience fragmentation if development lasted for

Yes, yes it was.
