I'd be hard pressed to name another game that sets out to do the things the Souls games do that has better controls. There are plenty of games out there where you have the ability to send your character flinging through the air with crazy precision (Bayonetta/DMC come to mind first), but that isn't the point of Souls,

He neglected to mention that the option is to make it L3 (analog stick pushed in). It's worse.

If you've ever been being chased around Sin's Fortress or the Catacombs by an invader you'd realize jumping is way bigger in Dark Souls than it is in Zelda.

I don't really see the connection. Skipping toddlerhood is skipping a step that was already basically what the normal game is, just with added limitations. Getting rid of leveling in an RPG is changing the whole concept of progression.

Ok, but does any of that really apply in the Sims, where your characters have no real lasting personality traits and change is instantaneous?

Toddlers being a 'main stage of life' is questionable. They are just the transitory stage between baby and child. One would think that all the stuff between 5 and 12 would be just as big a deal, but Sims generally goes straight from child to teenager.

Perhaps they knew Kotaku would cover the spelling error and there is no such thing as bad publicity? You know, for mad conspiracy points.

I tried to install The Sims 2 ultimate collection the other day since you know... it was free and all. Get the download going, it's 14 gigabytes, yet it takes far longer than any 14gb download takes me on Steam. Then it gets to 100%... Says installing for a second and then 'DOWNLOAD PAUSED'.

The worst part about it isn't even the branding... it's that in spite of the fact that they are rolling around in clown-sized BMWs they are still using the muted color schemes that actual BMWs use and that doesn't fit the game at all. I get that the whole idea of Mercedes is that it's supposed to be a serious luxury

Is there something about it having to be the most evolved species of an evolutionary group? Because well... Aegislash is cool and all, but there's really no question that it is at its coolest when it's just an honedge. As Aegislash it looks a little too much like it has proper arms.

At the point when a is not equal to b implies a is equal to b

Just hire some guy to randomly pop out from behind corners with a machete and frighten you.

I guess he returned to the moon... uh... another moon.

Fair enough.

I really feel like I don't know what Bloodborne is at this point.

It's a productivity hit to have people adapt to a new operating system with training. It's a worse one to have them do it without training.

There really isn't that much to it. Most of the lore of Dark Souls 2 is just relating things to the original Dark Souls. There are a few things about the history of the main King figure (Vendrick) and his brother (Duke Aldia), but the story is held back a lot I feel for its lack of strong central characters that you

It was only sort of fixed in 7 via the use of a Windows XP sandbox mode, and it was only available in the professional and business/enterprise versions (which isn't that big of a deal since I said it was mostly businesses anyway, but it has a bit of a trickling effect when you have people doing work on home computers

No, you misinterpreted me. I like that the taskbar doesn't hide by default. It's just a small part of the reason you shouldn't liken the task bar to a dock. If I wanted a dock on Windows, I'd use one.

I'm sure in your head that seems like a brilliant snap.
