I got one of those corsair h-something CPU closed system water coolers and... frankly, it's much louder than my old air cooling solution. I don't get too upset about it because it's relatively low profile and working with those enormous fucking heatsyncs in the way is a huge pain in the ass, but I was hoping that

Well, it depends. I hear you can get a lot better framerates using SLI/XFire setups at ridiculously high resolutions for instance... which can be great if say, you are trying to do something like have Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed play in 3840x1080 split screen across two monitors without sacrificing any of

This is true. I distinctly remember having a much better time with this when putting together my Phenom XII than the 4th gen Core i7 I replaced that box with.

And it's not like there is an affirming sound when you get it all perfectly placed either like with RAM or some PCI slots (granted I hate the PCI slots with the hard to pull on clips that keep your shit locked in). It's all squish and fear.

You left out the part where 2 hours after turning the machine on it crashes in an instant and you start googling through the blue screen log trying to figure out what went wrong while being in a state of sheer terror.

It all gets posted on Kotaku proper as well. Of course there is always that core thingy.

Dude needs to lay off the inhalants. That Koffing looks a little too hip for a koffing. Get off my lawn Koffing!

I think the Wii just plain needed that extra face button because it only really had two easily pushable buttons in its normal stance otherwise. Lots of games ended up using - for fairly significant things that would normally be bound to a face button.

They ought to just call it the 'play' button because it fulfills the same function as it does on a VCR/DVD player/etc... it gets things going, and it pauses/unpauses things that are already going. It already almost universally uses the same symbol anyway... or at least has historically.

Going by today's Miiverse comments, she is indeed a clone. It seems like the variation between her and Marth will probably be smaller than Marth to Roy though.

Well, the fact that it's just part of his heel story did cross my mind, it just took a back seat to my natural inclination to associate current gaming technology (on consoles at least) with favoring convenience and visual appeal over functionality and responsiveness.

Damnit guys, you aren't allowed to have Mario, Sonic, and Pacman in the same picture together anymore without also having MegaMan.

It's an amusing premise, but I'll be up front with you man... it's not a particularly interesting watch. It's kind of surreal, but nothing of interest ever happens. It's like Power Rangers without the occasional plot twist to mix things up.

Bebop was a considerable while back. Did you ever check out GTO? That one was fun if you wanted something that was an interesting story without too many of the hardcore anime tropes. It's just a story about a badass trying to make it through some semblance of a normal life.

Often, fanservice episodes happen midway through the series. They tend to be a way to give a lighthearted break after some major climax. Of course, in a show as serious and dark as Blade & Soul, having a fanservice episode midway through the series would destroy the tone and interrupt the carefully crafted thematic

That depends. How old are you? Because if the answer is less than 19 or so, then it's because it was on TV before you were born.

While samurai aren't ninjas, I too immediately made the connection. Sorry ladies, the asian warrior themed pizza delivery business theme is taken.

7/10. Would have been better with more yoshis.

I shouldn't have to say everything in perfectly unambiguous terms. Tons of people knew what I meant by context alone. You on the other hand chose to interpret it in some inane way without any apparent context to justify it and you chose to act like a dick based on your interpretation, so you know... you can go fuck

Still better than Sonic Boom's redesign.
