Really? I heard it was trash, and that sounds about right for a Franco movie about the making of a bad movie by an idiot.

It has to be the case, right? Space Bond doesn’t look like he even knows what hacking is.

That’s not really made clear. Regrettably, I was forced to dive into Wookiepedia to find out, and the Republic basically split in half before TFA, with one half becoming the First Order. So it’s more like if the North lost the Civil War and wealthy Southerners kept wealthying.

Man, if “don’t beat the shit out of a living thing for kicks” is too liberal snowflake SJW war on Christmas for you, you must lead a very outraged life.

Ren didn’t lie. What he said was true...from a certain point of view. He woke up to a crazy eyes uncle looking very much about to murder him. Luke didn’t lie either for that matter.

If you think Lucas planned out the OT, I got a bridge to sell you.

What if Benicio actually was the dude Maz was talking about, and he gambled away his flower pin to Space 007?

Wait they did? When is it coming out?

The reason this movie is awesome is literally that it pissed you and everyone like you off. That’s the reason to make it and the reason I love it.

Yeah, I’m with you on the humor. I really didn’t need to hear “starts with an H.”

Yup. I’m so over CGI battles and choreographed dance fights. Everything good in this movie involved people talking and not actively trying to kill anything.

He’s like this all the time.

God you get wound up so easily.

You know what’s crazy? This guy hates TLJ but loves the prequels. Unreal, right?

No one cares about your action figure collection or your USC degree, dudebro.

Superfans are the problem and movies should absolutely not care about them. Fuck the rule of two. It was stupid to begin with.

The only problem with that is that the Dark Side involves doing awful shit. Does Star Wars really want to make the case that we need to coexist with pure evil?

Redemption is bullshit when you’re complicit in mass murder! The one big failing of Star Wars from the perspective of moral philosophy is that an entire galaxy is treated as the disposable backdrop for a family squabble. Star Wars treats Dark and Light almost as if they’re just two teams, like people who treat

And why was there a Republic and a Resistance in TFA? I’m not reading any Star Wars books, you gotta tell me in the movie.

I wasn’t overly impressed with Snoke’s abilities. He’s a competent and trained Sith, with more flare for the dramatic, but what did he do that we didn’t see Vader, Palpatine, Luke, or Yoda do in the original trilogy?
