I dont think we are closer to needing "fighters" without people. Drones as an air superiority tool are critical for the kind of missions we used to trust to SR71s and U2s. Dog fighting? No I don't see drones dog fighting for a very long time.
It's not like we exactly need an "air superiority" fighter anymore anyway. Obviously drones are proving their merit, but more important should be a concerted effort in reducing the costs to get into outer space.
Porsche's 928 wasn't the most reliable... so here's a better use for a dead lump from a former u-boat.
Badass!
Well yea American car lots sucked back then.
The Ram still has the crosshair grille, but apparently so-to will the upcoming Dart. If the Viper gets a similar design treatment, how is it not a Dodge? How is a Ram not a Dodge?
I don't think you'd want to see the pedestrian fatalities caused by road vehicles map then...
While I realize the Rosemeyer concept presaged it, the RSQ's similarities to the Type 52 add gravitas to hoary maxim:
All this has happened before, and all that.
Why I'm def in the camp that an appealing-looking sporting car in the not 1% price range is something Lexus needs, I'd honestly be more interested in an IS300 wagon/sportback/shooting brake.
This is the first Lagonda I've seen I could write a check for, which makes it NP.
Ah naivete: Prison is big business in America, up there with all manner of other abused industries. You might be aware that prisons are overcrowded, most notably in California. Who are these baddies filling penitentiary walls? Mostly minority males, on minor drug/illegal weapons possession charges. Rapists and…
All aboard the failboat.
What a stupid CEO. All they had to do was SELL the underdeveloped early cars, and just keep fine-tuning the idea. But no, typical executive douche-baggery set in with unreachable goals, ill defined monetization targets, and massive scope creep from the original idea's elegance.
Why someone thought it makes sense on this Lexus SC we might never know, but the Nardi steering wheel is so iconic that they still make it as-is. Having graced the helms of countless classics, 80s tuner crap, and countless more real race cars it's an icon unto itself.
People keep saying 911: engine in the back, round headlights up front etc.
Another classic? The Mercedes star. It can be the centerpiece of an aggressive, sporting grille on a top flight race car...
The Aston Martin winged grille.
Well Ettore Bugatti did call them the fastest lorries in the world...
