Its not quite crack pipe cuz this is pure JDM resto-mod action, but I'd negotiate the final purchase down a tad. I'm sure the seller is trying to recoup his investment - but if he'd paid attention to the resto-mod world in American Iron its nigh impossible to do that.

Exposed cockpit!

Maybe they just really had to *Go* and ran out of the car when they finally found a space.

The "wastegate dump" and other engine mods make this an instant no. As a collector piece it would need to be flawless to sit in my garage, as a driver it would need to be well maintained but unmolested. This is neither.

I completely understand why Ferrari and Lamborghini are going to paddle-shift only transmissions:

@MaWeiTao: There is a solution actually, one I strongly believe will eventually and inexorably be legislated into being:

Saabs, large American cars from the 60s and the Maserati Coupe/Spyder from the late 90s.

I like this conceptual take on the 6 wheeler idea. The designer did a great job of eliminating drag from the equation... maybe the P34 will portend the future in the end?

If I'm not mistaken, those ARE OEM wheels, Porsche Carrera sport classics with factory black centers. I think it was an option on 996s.

Chevrolet Malibu "Classic". Seriously awful. The transmission takes so long to respond that by the time you've gotten up to speed traffic has long since slowed down in front of you.

No, this is why people think American drivers are Asshats. I mean first of all, how fucking big does an Accord need to be? It went from being a great midsize car to a bloated boat driven by bloated people hopped on diabetes meds while they make a McDs run.

*sigh* I miss the bay. The most interesting thing I see in Chicago is invariably new - and therefore not really that interesting.

E92 M3, since the E46s are getting too old for me to run one as a single daily driver. That and MKIII Miata/MX-5s.

Just goes to show how truly advanced the M1 was. Its likely the only car of the bunch I'd be happy to run today, just having to pay for regular maintenance. The rest? Not so sure I have the stomach for that sort of upkeep...
