The only one I am interested in seeing is a series about the adventures of young Varys and young Illyrio on the mean streets of the Free Cities. I honestly have no interest in a Dunk & Egg series.
Fun fact: This is the first instance of Franz Drameh using his actual voice on the show. He’s secretly British. Also Wally on The Flash is secretly Australian.
I’m curious to see if there will be an actual Asian lead or if it’s getting whitewashed for the CW’s usual improbably beautiful Caucasian.
This is gonna sound real dopey, but that world is very fortunate to have both of them.
I would be down for a Bronn-centric spinoff. Great idea!!
Yeah, they were young adventurers together and it was they who were responsible for whisking Daenerys and Varys to safety during Robert’s Rebellion.
No, that was just something I thought I might like to see after hearing Varys tell Tyrion about his early days with Illyrio.
Rather than a Dunk & Egg prequel as the Thrones spinoff, I’d much rather see the adventures of young Varys and Illyrio as thief & swordsman trying to make their way on the mean streets of Essos. And see the events of the world through their eyes.
I used to be an actor and another actor friend of mine is a buddy of Dylan Baker, who played Dr Curt Connors in the Raimi Spidey movies. He and his wife Becky (she was on Freaks & Geeks and is Lena Dunham’s mom on Girls) came to see a play we were doing and while he was there, he mentioned that the studio was gearing…
This is kind of based on a real situation, I believe. This wealthy garbage magnate in New Orleans created this app for reporting crimes and his security force seems to be made up of off-duty cops. I downloaded the app out of curiosity when I was down there last Halloween. I’m not sure how much it has affected the…
Saw this movie last night and I said out loud to myself, “The only thing that could make this movie bearable is if Rob Bricken were here to do a play-by-play. I’d pay real money for that.”
I’m guessing the girl was white because the police didn’t shoot her when they arrived?
Twice. I saw a 4:20 am show (pretty sure I was the only person there not high) in IMAX and 3D with a packed house. Then saw it a little over twelve hours later in a regular theatre about half full. There first crowd would burst into applause and cheers, second crowd not so much. Upside of the second show was that I…
Don’t get me wrong, I recognize Empire as the best of the movies, but Jedi is my favorite. Vader is all black and glossy, you get the seamy underbelly of the underworld in Jabba’s crib with the whole gang coming together to rescue Han, and my favorite moment in all the movies: “You’ve failed, Your Highness. I am a…
Anybody else think the Seventh Sister might be Ezra’s mom?
I’m glad somebody else said something about Calista Flockhart’s face, I thought I was seeing things. During the martini scene, it looked like Cat Grant through an Instagram filter but then the shot tracked over to Kara and all looked normal. Ugh. Just own it, yo.
YesYesYES! No other story (work of literature or other media, including parables, bedtime stories, religious tales) has had a greater impact on me than Dune. It informs almost every aspect of my daily life.
