I have to strongly disagree on Guy Pearce being better than Bale. Guy Pearce is good, but Bale is no slouch at all. I do think he was very good in Prestige with a subtle performance, but his best two performances are American Psycho and The Fighter.

I haven't watched 2001 one yet, I do and will watch it, but I still have apprehension about it, and your comment pretty much validates my apprehension.
I highly disagree. I think Prestige is his best film, by far, because it does have an emotional pull. You actually do care about the two main characters, and you get trapped in their feud and you go along with them becoming more ruthless and corrupt. Their descent into madness is greatly shown throughout the movie.…
Prestige should of won best picture for the 06 oscars, simple as that. It is easily Nolan's best film, and none of the films that were nominated that year were even close to it. Pan's Labyrinth should easily be there as well, but I would still put Prestige above it.
Last night was bad, the best part of the whole thing was actually the Shooting Stars comp, which I never thought I would say. Dominique Wilkins knocking down half court shots was one of the only good things out of two and a half hours of programming. Other than that it was shitty dunks, Kenny Smith saying that the…
Instead of The Avengers taking over and saving Townsville, it should be the PPG's taking over and saving New York City and stealing The Avengers Thunder.
I think for the Batman reboot they should switch up and go for a Bat Family movie instead of a Batman movie. I know Batman and Robin tried it a little bit and failed spectacularly, but that sets up the reboot for having low expectations and then being able to surprise the viewer with good quality if they can achieve…
And I think what you said about Scream is why I actually prefer it, because it still feels like a Horror movie, so it has some merit in actually deconstructing the genre. Plus, when it is full on Horror movie it does work because it is tense, you really do fear the characters in this one, and the characters aren't…
The Avengers did everything well and nothing wrong, I just don't think they did anything truly great either. It was solid across the board, but it still felt empty and shallow at the end, and yes, almost all Blockbusters are at their core somewhat empty and shallow, but most good blockbusters can make you get past…
Buffy - I love season 2-3, but the rest of the seasons were hit or miss, and season 1 was extremely rocky, almost leaning into the bad territory. There were major problems with most of the other seasons though. Season 4 had a very weak Villain, Season 5-7 had the character of dawn. Season 6 also gets so angst filled…
Or he might of sucked in Battleship because it was Battleship.....
I think he means Zack Snyder, not Scott Snyder. Since Zack is the one directing MOS, and that it was looking like that his Superman movie was the one that was going to be inserted into the JL movie.
You will always have the DCAU JL to watch again and again. It has been done right already!
I don't see how this is bad news, other than the fact that Darkseid might not show up....
The reason why I think he can be Han Solo is his Charisma. He just has this roguish charm to him, and I think he can handle a "younger" Han Solo, one who wouldn't be as outgoing as he might be when he is older. But he could probably handle it better if he were to use his natural accent, instead of trying to do an…
Risk is the worst strategy game I have ever played, and I'm not even that big into strategy games. Hell, you can barely call what Risk is strategy anyway. The only real strategy is how you spread out your troops, that's it. The rest is left up to random dice rolls and hoping your opponent doesn't get lucky.
Athletes as role modes is the dumbest thing ever, their job is playing a GAME! Nothing more, they literally play a game for a living. It is entertainment, not something that actually matters.
I have honestly never played Ninja Gaiden, even though I am a huge video game fan. I was born in 1990, so I kinda missed out on the Ninja Gaiden games for the old school nintendo systems, yet was kinda young enough when it came back in the early 2000s to not really care or know that much about it. And I have just…
For people who want defense, that Pats Panthers game had it. The first half was mostly a defensive game, there wasn't a score till 11 minutes and 55 seconds had passed in the 2nd Quarter!
You would think they missed it, until you realize that you could easily do Naruto without having them be Ninjas. Them calling themselves Ninjas is kinda superficial at the point
