Totally looks like Mo from Wall-e
Totally looks like Mo from Wall-e
Cross eyed Gold Fish. The end.
I like/love RWD as much as the next Jalop, and I too agree that BMW is making a mistake going FWD on anything branded BMW, but still, the FWD hate is getting old. No, it won't drag race well, doesn't drift well either. But you know, in a small, well sorted car it can handle brilliantly while maximizing interior…
Any of those 3 motors would be a hoot! What ever you choose, you've got 2 motors to sell off to recoup some of the cost! And the car itself looks incredibly clean. (Dash is suspect because of the cover on it) Great price!
Ahhh, back when driver aids, meant power steering and power brakes... maybe sunglasses too.
@Feketelaszlo: I'd prefer to substitute "mother" for "father". Then it would truly be a MILF.
@seoultrain: Inline 8 if you check the pictures, but otherwise, massive second!
@Nurburgring: I'm just waiting for her airbags to deploy.
@Superjohn_rtp: I second this. Just looks like an accident to me. No one side to blame more than the other.
starting at 39k huh? Wow, talk about pretty awesome entry level home ownership!
I love my mini, but I'm always looking for my next car. A mini fighter, styled after the Saab 92 with some Spyker style switch gear inside.... I can see myself handing over my cash for that.
With my second car. My 1st, a 76 Gremlin (Loved that car) was an autotragic, and the OH so wonderful Chrysler 904 3spd auto had lost a gear. I was 17, a massive car nut, wanted a stick, but didn't want a honda. So I did what seemed completely reasonable to me at that age, I bought a $1500 1978 BMW 320i 4spd car. …
All hail the Gremlin! The only thing on that car I'd worry about is (assuming it's an auto like the vast majority were) the chrysler sourced 904 3spd auto backing up the (again assuming) AMC 6. From my experience, 3rd gear tends to go out and then the rest of the gears soon follow...aleast in the hands of a 16/17…
@Shadowman615: Apparently so. And apparently he is completely ignorant of the term "humor" or the idea of using it so sell cars.
For those wondering about it's weight, most sources are showing 2,303lbs, but no clue on what engine/trans/options that is for. If that number is pretty close for all levels, then the 122hp won't be hopeless, but still well behind it's competition.
I work from 1am on. I drive to work in the dark. I drive as part of my job, so (this time of year especially) i have 7ish hours of night driving...and i completely agree with all of this. Whether it's in the E150 van at work, or in my Cooper S, interstates, 2 lane country roads, or around town, driving at night is…
So he tore down a 3 car garage of some sort, and built an award winning and aesthetically, more pleasing structure that let him ogle his toy, and now they want him to get rid of it? Wait... How can an award winning design "degrade hillside neighborhoods throughout the city"? I would imagine it'd be a great thing for…
@Turbineguy - now with reheat!!: "But, once again, I have come up short"
From what little the pictures tell, it seems to be a clean, well done swap and the rest of the car is looking great. Wheels are meh, but liveable until you find something to your liking. 8500 for turnkey fun, not a bad deal at all.
If you can't win (or finish) in a spectacular fashion, you might as well fail in one!
