And what is wrong with killing babies?

@graverobber- Same great taste, new low price!: And strangely enough, their dogs run on oil... of course I then wonder if a dog fart in mexico smells like the tail pipe of a semi rather than a rotten egg taco.
I'd drive it. Hopefully it drives like a little pocket rocket. My mother has a 2001 focus hatch 5spd. No options. There are days I will actually go barrow it just because its so small (in comparison to my S70 T5), and feels so confident that the massive power disparity isn't an issue. I'd look at things like the…
@Mazda-Eric-&-the-Curse-of-Lame-CGI: Actually not. The Mazda 2/Fiesta platform is larger than the 500/Ka.
Is anyone else really put off by Ferrari's "studio" shots? Talk about over produced and touched up. I really think they'd be better off to just get someone with a reasonable quality point and shoot digital camera and a few hours in a parking lot. If the car looked good then, then you KNOW its a beautiful design.
Really, if the Brits have nothing better to do than try and fire someone for driving a car 99.99% of the driving population could never afford at something like 60% of its potential, then they really need to watch more internet porn.
@Ash78: I have that game bookmarked and have for quite a while. Its a great bit of time wasting.
@Ash78: Yup, same thing, just more fun to say. That and it is a fun mental image.
@Dr.Danger, El guapo diablo: You think its amazing to find a stock Honda product in Cali, move someplace with no emissions regs or CARB certification issues...like here in Missouri. Umm, if it doesn't have a Kitty cannon or a $30 hot air intake, at the very least, its amazing. I'm pretty sure the dealerships are…
Its strange, both Ford and GM have cars to meet the current fuel/content/quality needs and desires of the U.S....just not in the U.S. I know it costs money to re-engineer to meet our safety specs, but how much more money would developing a NEW vehicle, not to mention lost sales in the mean time, cost? Bring me the…
@smalleyxb122: Don't forget, that if you live in a climate that is less than dry, the few remaining ones, molested or not, have rusted away to 4 dry rotted tires and headlights.
I flew 600 miles to buy a car sight unseen because it had the 5spd I wanted in that particular model and trim. So figure out my take on the manu-matic thing.
@iamjames: I'm sure you're aware of this, but do remember that the gallon European's measure is not the same as the US gallon. Its a bit more. 1 U.S. gallon is equal to about 1.20094 gallons UK.
Really, the US isn't that bad. Its just everyone is thinking worst case scenario. The only thing is...SUV's are getting expensive to fuel and you'll soon see them traded in for cross overs and small trucks. (Way to miss the mark and kill the Ranger Ford.)
Hmmm. 500cc and abit over 800lbs....So a large motorcycle with a smallish bike motor...Possibility for moderately acceptable acceleration AND uber gas mileage...not bad. Screw safety. If you can't afford the gas to drive it, doesn't matter how safe the damned thing is.
Yeah, the prices from my area are all SEVERAL days old. Completely useless. And I'm not sure if people know what "premium" is. One is listed at 3.09...91-93 hasn't been that cheap here in about a year.
VW Beetle. Sorry, but the damned things, as proven on Top Gear in Africa, are reliable and durable beyond imagination. Cheap to buy, cheap to run, cheap to repair and probably still quite desirable where ever these guys stop to sell it. Yeah, not as cool as the Peugot... but then again if it works the entire time,…
@FreeMan: The problem is, around here you have to be running the limit at the end of the ramp or be able to, because of heavy truck traffic and a lack of courtesy from fellow drivers. You have to hit the road running lest you be run over.
...but lets avoid the Alan Alda as the spokesman.
@bmoredlj: Or offer it on OD Green with M.A.S.H. stenciled on the side with a 4077 badge, edition?
