The problem is you can’t just mix different plastics: ABS, PLA, PVA, PET, ... all have different traits (glass transition temperature, melting temperature, fumes released,which type dissolves in what material...).

There already exist devices to recycle plastics to “new” filament, such as the Filastruder and “recycled”
