I think the Russian military would finally revolt if Putin ordered them to use tactical nukes. They must know that that would lead straight to WWIII.

Humiliating Musk will probably be the best thing Twitter has ever done.

In other words, either Musk just flat out refused to appear for the deposition, or his attorneys knew that trying to get him to testify in a way that didn’t nuke their case was impossible. The indignant tantrum about Twitter actually wanting to go to trial is kind of a tip-off.

I mean, going to court isn’t really a bad deal for Twitter. They get to force a big fine on Mr. Twitterfingers for backing out and then just get to continue operating as is.
