Yeah - correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t a cross-plane-crank V8 just a conventional American V8? The GT350 is the only Mustang to have been fitted with a flat-plane-crank V8, right?
Yes, cross-plane, not a good feature (nor bad, really), why are we still mentioning this?
It uses the same composite support as the gt350, which is why the gt350 still uses the old headlights. Changing the lights means changing the core support, which means more crash testing. Using the old pieces means saving more money.
The GT350 fenders still fit the old headlights. This uses that fender design.

As a Service technician, sure I cannot like that unprotected electric connector. I don’t know what it’s for, nor this is the point: the point is that this is an area prone to splashing water, and like it is now it won’t do... then or they seal it (like the ones below it), or they move it somewhere else.
As soon as gas prices begin to level out, we go back to doing things that maximize our dependence on cheap gas. We do not learn from our mistakes.
