I love how every time someone shits on a game an internet commenter likes, it’s either “You spent a bunch of time/money on it and only then realized you didn’t like it?” or “You barely played it, what do you know?”

It’s like the saying “If you ran into 1 asshole during the day, you ran into an asshole. If you ran into several assholes, then you are the asshole”
Well, that puts a damper on that. First Jason and now you. Why do you guys take pleasure in delaying games? It used to be about the music, man. I dont even know who to trust anymore.
Salty? I never complained about seeing the article and yeah I comment bc I have an opinion, just like anyone that comments on an article. You know what the dumbest argument on the internet is ever? Trying to argue for someone to keep quiet about their opinions in a public domain. Did anyone hold a gun to your head and…
XVIII century Irish writer Jonathan Swift should get in contact with Spanish-speakers as he came with the name Laputa in Guilliver’s tales and only much later Ghibili used it in a movie.
In that case, the problem lies within consumer education in a capitalist society. We need to educate at a young age why moderation is key to everything in life. That yes it can be fun buying into card games, but understanding limits is what needs to be drilled into people’s skulls.
Currently just like alcohol, eating…
Yep.
I would have completely ignored this game if it weren’t for all the negative press, particularly here on Kotaku. Once I started looking into it, I liked what I saw, and I pre-ordered a copy to show my support for Vanillaware. Wound up platinuming the game, and making it my GOTY. If the PS4 has a cool limited edition,…
So it’s almost as if when people said Nintendo was faking the production troubles and just didn’t WANT to make a ton of money off the NES Classic... they were wrong? And maybe Nintendo just didn’t anticipate the NES Classic being so incredibly popular and didn’t have the capability to produce both it and the Switch at…
You sure told them, cool guy!
I think I speak for all of us when I say: Oh come the FUCK on!
A 3 week experiment to see the value of someone’s work output is shitty science. In the short term, other people may be able to take up the slack. But you may not see longer term costs in terms of misscheduled appointments, small annoyances that build up over time, miscommunications that didn’t have to happen, etc.
As the saying goes, “your first Doctor is your favorite,” still holds true for me. My first Doctor Who was Tom Baker in the late 70's. He is still my favorite, and I love to watch the old shows every once in a while. He traveled with a female Time Lord who regenerated once, Romanadvoratrelundar. I can understand from…
My mom goes to a lot of garage sales during the summer and like 8 years ago I asked her to pick up any SNES cart she finds as long as she doesn’t pay more than $3 for it, with some exceptions for the rarer games that I gave her a list of to watch out for, and I pay her back whenever I visit her. So over the years I…
Fun fact: to make extra scratch, studios and artists sell reference assets. A scene like this would take 2-3 weeks to story board and pencil, so a studio could buy these frames for about the cost of a week’s worth of work, and paint over it. The integrity of the story remains, and each party makes a profit.
I haven’t played Danganronpa V3 yet, but could the content within really be any worse than what was already given a pass in Ultra Despair Girls? That game has a bunch of grade-school kids murdering all their parents!
This right here is a load of crap and Walmart should be called on it. Their social team was commending and praising people that got in/ordered on. If it was a glitch they wouldn’t be responding. They straight up bait and switched.. and Walmart needs the hammer put to them for this crap.
I think the thing that really irritates me is that I have trouble believing it was a glitch. It took them until Wed. to cancel the orders? It feels like this is just a (shady) response to all the salt online by people who were shut out so far (Best Buy did some pre-orders too, right?). Hopefully that’s not the case.
Or if you catch the authors original article that was corrected with no correction while I get picked on for it...
