“Well excuuuuse me, Princess” *wails on air guitar*
I remember when pokemon first released in the US, I was 9 and staying with my grandfather for the weekend. As a way of keeping my brother and I out of his hair he brought us to EB Games to get Pokemon. The scene when we got there was absolute chaos. If I had known what the stock market was at the time, that’s what I…
It was Sept ‘98 when it hit US Stores and I was a Senior in High School. I had heard of Pokemon but only knew it as a “kid’s game” but I loved the box art with a giant turtle thing with CANNONS ON IT! Blastoise to this day is one of my top 10 favorites of all time, easily, and I’ve been a fan since.
Woo! Another Gengar fan!
This is so sad :( I kind of wished I could be there to tell the little guy that he’ll be okay. I would totally advise the parents and the doctors to watch over him for 2-3 weeks to ensure that the venom doesn’t cause any damage or alteration to his senses, most notably would be hearing loss which is known to happen in…
Keep on kicking ass little dude.
Why is this important?
How did you manage to find yourself in the comment section of a video game website, mature adult man spending his time doing nothing but the most valuable work in the world. I’m confused.
Jason Schreier posts about Nintendo Switch, causes the console be delayed 3 months. New Release date is 6/2.
Makes me wish we lived in the world of the TCG Gameboy game, where you could just beat people in gyms and get two packs for free.
Context. Jim is saying the fact that people will define his career partially by his academic intelligibility (Which lets face it, we will.) is a bad thing. He’s complaining that we didn’t appreciate what he’s done in his life.
Interesting. I grew up playing the original Pokemon, but stopped buying handhelds after Emerald, so when I picked up Pokemon Sun with a new 3DS for myself prior to Christmas, I had no idea what all these Pokemon were (still don’t; half of my Wonder Trades are just me going “What is THAT?!”), or why I was seeing so…
Thanks for this. This is one of the more informative articles I’ve read about the Meta in a while.
I love how Gizmodo news now consists of lurking on 4chan and reporting on what upsets the blogger.
Nintendo’s been doomed since the NES
Actually, code snippets were shown. The same code, by both sides. When they blew it up to make it legible, differences became clear. Read Carmack’s FB post.
Typically the top tier units available at the start of these types of games get outclassed pretty fast. But if you score a 5* on your initial rolls, you’ll be able to coast longer before hitting a point where you have to hope you get one of the new meta 5* units and your unit will still be able to deal with most of…
Not really as it depends on the game, but you just need to put more effort to just keep up with those who have full 5* team.
It’s also to prepare for future updates, as these kind of games only get harder with time. I doubt you’ll hit a wall and stop progressing, but some characters are just better since they have…
If you want a technical explanation for this; it’s a rendering error, rather than a “glitch”.
Good. I wish this was a socially acceptable thing to do let alone fashionable in the US. If I wore a mask to work for a cold people would laugh at me. Its not that I care that much, but I its not worth doing something nice only to get laughed at.
