I am so disappointed, that they cut out the vocals from the Japanese version, again. And my biggest question is, why? Are there some strange contracts, that let them use the music, but no the voices of their artists for the western versions?
I wouldn’t say Japan as a whole, but Tokyo definitely. Low level jobs definitely have their fair share of non-Japanese demographic throughout most of the city.
I was thinking of looking around for an old Sega Genesis console and a copy of Star Control. Best fucking game ever invented. I would play the SHIT out of that game today if I could find it. I weep that I lost my Genesis a long time ago.

Don’t sweat the difficulties, Albert. If we know one thing about gamers, it’s that they’re not particularly hypersensitive to any sort of direct or even indirect criticism about their hobby.
This just comes across to me as the Union being pissed that they didn’t get theirs and that by the symphony going non-union it allows musicians who don’t want to be a union member opportunities to work without paying union dues.

Frank Welker has said that the G1 Megatron voice hurts his throat too much to reproduce exactly; he basically can’t do it anymore, which is why in “Prime” his Megatron was much quieter and sinister than loud and MUWAHAHAHA!
KFC was way, way better during the ‘70s and ‘80s, before the recipes were cheapened and the quality of food went way down. The actual Harland Sanders was a huge stickler for quality, and it’s kind of a sad joke that Yum Brands still uses that whole narrative to sling chicken that Col. Sanders wouldn’t feed to his dog.

About the Marilyn Monroe thing... Christopher Reeve did the same thing in the movies. He totally transformed himself from Clark to Superman, often right on camera in a single shot, just by straightening up and changing his expression and manner. It can work.
