Well, for perspective, I'm an avid JRPG player and long held the belief that Ocarina of Time was my favorite game. My favorite JRPGs are Final Fantasy 6/9, Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, Shadow Hearts 2, and Lost Odyssey.

It was at this point where I said, "Screw it. I'm jumping on the E3 hype train." It's easy to sit back and cast a cynical gaze upon the whole thing while typing "meh" more times than you actually use in real life, but it's tons more fun to follow along and actually get excited about things.

It would've been better for it to be named... Amiigo, you know, friend in spanish, a lot of english speakers now it from movies, tv shows, etc, anyways...

I prefer it this way where not everyone who comes on the floor looks like a corporate shill. Someone dressed like they work in a bank does not inspire me to buy their games. Someone who looks like an actual every day gamer might though. If a guy comes on stage in a tutu I am more likely to buy their games than someone…
